Effects of colour terms on the digital photography - a case study of cool colours

Abstract: Various colours naturally exist in the environmental surrounding. They stimulate human visual senses and also give people some physiological cognition. In fact, each of colours has its own symbol and image, whereas the different psychological reactions result from diverse colours. Colour is an important factor in the expression of digital photography. It plays an essential role in the style of photographical work and situational expression. To explore the effects of colour image of cool colours, the works of digital photography were used as samples in this study. The authors try to show the importance of colour image in the creation of digital photography through the methods of literature review and case analysis. It is recommended that the creator of digital photography should prioritise the factors of colour image, based on the emotional image of the picture colour.
