Abstract: Logistics traceability system has complicated business logic, while the underlying RFID reader has distributed and heterogeneous characteristics. In order to simplify the business logic and facilitate the data processing, this paper extracts the general characteristics of logistics traceability, and establishes a logistics traceability model. A dynamic plugin mechanism based on XML is introduced to solve the heterogeneity problem. To summarise, the data collection middleware framework for logistics traceability is designed, the diversity and complexity of RFID readers are shielded and the collection interface is standardised. The data collection middleware for logistics traceability is confirmed to integrate the reader and the application effectively.
