Abstract: Many academic and administrative researchers have already done several attempts aiming at risk assessment of big projects. The main risks of construction projects have been identified and classified in this paper by investigating research and studies done in this regard. The risks have then been categorised into several groups and assessment and analysis of project risk have been carried out by using risk breakdown structure and presenting a mixed model of ANP and DEMATEL. Finally, this model application has been explained through a case study. By application of this model and polling experts, it has been proved that financial and external risks are more important than other types of risks.
