Abstract: Changes in precipitation are an important factor in determining the impact of climate change because of the extraordinary influence on all living beings and inanimate objects on earth. The objective of this research is to determine the trend of rainfall variability and projected changes. This research was conducted in Palu Watershed using daily rainfall data from five rain stations. Based on the statistics value and the FDC curve, the average rainfall in the watershed was calculated by Thiessen method. Trend changes in rainfall and projected changes were analysed by Makesens method. There is a positive and negative trend in Palu Watershed based on rainfall data. A significant positive trend for monthly rainfall occurs in August and a negative and significant trend occurred in January. For the next 30 years (2016 to 2046), the amount of the cumulative increase in annual rainfall is about 10.27%, while the average annual rise is 0.35%.
