In the period of economic recovery in agriculture, farms analysed actively reproduced fixed assets. This points to the important role of economic considerations in shaping of the reproduction processes. The study shows that the environmentally and economically sustainable farms achieve a higher level of reproduction. Farms able to be developed in a sustainable way and thus achieve extended reproduction require appropriate size, usually in the range of 40-55 ha.
