Abstract: Legislation with respect to the recovery and environmentally friendly processing of discarded products may be an opportunity for companies to increase profits by creating components from the discarded products. This research was directed to the profitability of the disassembly of some of the components of a product to use them in the assembly of new products or for service aims. In order to get experience and knowledge, this research has been focused on computers. A mathematical model has been developed based upon the technical, operational and economic control of the recovery processes. With this model, some preliminary simulation runs have been executed. The results obtained from the simulations were in accordance with the expectations.
