by Shouhong Wang, Hai Wang
International Journal of Mobile Communications (IJMC), Vol. 3, No. 4, 2005

Abstract: Mobile commerce has two characters that are fundamentally unique to traditional e-commerce: local business orientation and dynamic user context. These characteristics call for improvements of business service models and the information technology infrastructure. This paper proposes a business information centre model, called l-hub, to support local businesses by providing better mobile services for consumers. The implementation aspects of this model are examined.
