Healthcare and motivation-medicine: a critical examination of health, the medical profession and the future of cell research

Abstract: This study offers a reflection on healthcare and motivation-medicine, the medical profession and the future of cell research, while introducing a new concept based on the understanding medical doctors can no longer be confined in hospitals. In the era of the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and mounting healthcare expenditures in the USA and also other countries in the world, including those with universal care, it is becoming apparent the traditional relationship doctor-patient may not be the best and only way to optimum and quality health. Motivation-Medicine, discussed in this study, offers a cost-effective, humane and caring alternative way.
