Abstract: This paper considers the design of the sliding mode control (SMC) for a class of the uncertain switch systems with the time delay and the external disturbance. Based on Lyapunov function, a sufficient condition for the control of such uncertain switch systems is derived by means of sliding mode control and the appropriate switching law. It is shown that the designed sliding mode controller can guarantee the state of the switched systems to converge to the single sliding surface and remained on it thereafter. Numerical simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach and the application procedure for potential readers/users.
