Abstract: Over the past decade a significant growth in software applications that are delivered in the form of services utilising the network infrastructure is witnessed and observed. Both SOA and cloud deals with delivering services to business with improved agility, increased speed and reduced cost that can lead to greater innovation and effective returns on investment. In this work, we proposed an architecture that uses SOA principles and focus how architectural context support the use of cloud computing. We proposed that service-oriented systems and cloud computing can be cross-vertically integrated, agile, ad-hoc and reconfigurable in an autonomic and on-demand manner. Further, this capability of integration can be utilised with the agreed benefit of cloud architecture and can be utilised to provide a business solution in the form of architecture to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
