Abstract: In this paper, I apply predictor-based system identification technique to several different systems, which are identified without and with integrated noise in closed-loop and open-loop. The PBSID uses the Kalman observer whose Kalman gain is calculated from the Riccati equation thus, the observer matrix is guaranteed to be stable even identified system is unstable whether the identified system is in open-loop or closed-loop. Related algorithm is developed. I apply this concept to the CD player arm and the food extruder system to show its effectiveness with simulation using the MATLAB©.
