Abstract: Having high confidence about measuring the efficiency of an organisation correctly is one of the fundamental concerns of managers in making decisions for future. If the efficiency-related information does not indicate an obvious status of the organisation or in case it is inaccurate, it can lead to poor decision-making by managers. This paper deals with a shortcoming of data envelopment analysis (DEA) in efficiency assessment in successive periods. Here, a combined model is introduced to work out the mentioned problem, which is shown in an application, commercial banks. Consequently, the validity of the proposed method is demonstrated.
