Application of Monte Carlo method on NIRS physiological inspection analysis
by Hai Wang
International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology (IJCAT), Vol. 41, No. 1/2, 2011

Abstract: In the article, the author applied Monte Carlo method on establishing imitation model of NIRS physiological inspection, put forward new idea of scanning style NIRS inspection, and attempted to carry out scanning style NIRS inspection by Monte Carlo imitation model for the first time. The research shows that scanning style NIRS inspection has much higher resolution than normal fNIRS style inspection. The author compared and analysed inspection results of models with different channel length, and gave advice about channel length selection. Finally, real inspection was carried out as validation. The research also presents that Monte Carlo method has application value in biological optical inspection.
