Abstract: This paper suggests a stable design approach dedicated to the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy controllers for the water-level control of a laboratory three-tank system. The design approach is based on a simplified application of LaSalle's global invariant set theorem. An original stability analysis theorem offers sufficient inequality-type stability conditions that enable the controller design and tuning. Real-time experimental results are included to validate the theoretical results.
