Abstract: A new web-based patients' monitoring and diagnosis system in lab-view environment is developed, to acquire, store and process the data, by connecting the patient to a specialist for detecting, online, alert high-risk stages. Graphical User-friendly Interfaces (GUIs) are used to display, communicate and process Heart Rate (HR), and beat-to-beat rate (RR) intervals, from raw sensor data of ECG signal, pulse rate, body temperature. Transmission Communication Protocol (TCP)/User Datagram Protocol (UDP) is communication link between local and remote PCs. Two modes of operation, transferring stored data files on demand and sending data online for alert conditions are given. A case study of the system's performance and experimental verification for heart line data with varying heart rate and rhythm is presented.
