International Journal of Knowledge and Learning (IJKL), Vol. 4, No. 2/3, 2008

Abstract: In this paper the authoring process of grid resources for courses that include Virtual Scientific Experiments (VSEs) is presented. The grid resource structure and the related objects for this type of course are explained. The complexity of the problem is the reason for having a suitable set of authoring tools, which supports all the steps necessary to generate consistent resources. A simple example of a pendulum experiment illustrates the authoring process. The works is supported under the EU-funded ELeGI project.
