The influence of water on frequency response of concrete plates armed by nanoparticles utilising analytical approach

Abstract: Frequency response of a concrete plate armed by nanoparticles under the influence of water is investigated. The plate is rested on soil medium simulated by spring element and it is armed by nanoparticles where the Mori and Tanaka approach is utilised in order to calculate the material effective characteristics with the assumption of agglomeration. The force of water on the plate is obtained by momentum equation with consideration of laminar fluid. Utilising third order theory, principle of Hamilton and method of energy, the final equations are derived. Utilising analytical approach, the frequency of plate is studied and the influences of agglomeration and volume fraction of nanoparticles, geometrical variables and soil medium are investigated on the frequency. It may be found that with enhancing the volume fraction of nanoparticles, the frequency is enhanced. In addition, the agglomeration in the nanoparticles can reduce the frequency considerably.
