International Journal of Aerodynamics (IJAD) ISSN (Online): 1743-5455 - ISSN (Print): 1743-5447
Abstracting/Indexing Services and Journal Lists
IJAD provides an international forum and refereed authoritative source of information on the development of science and technologies in the field of aerodynamics. It covers all aspects of aerodynamics, and is the only journal dedicated solely to the field of aerodynamics.
Objectives
IJAD aims to promote the advancement of science and technology of aerodynamics by disseminating original technical information of permanent interest in the field of aerodynamics. By being the only international journal solely dedicated to aerodynamics, the journal aims to serve as a focal point of technical information exchange for the aerodynamics community throughout the world. Readership
Everyone working in and related to the field of aerodynamics, including professors, researchers, and graduate students in academia; scientists and researchers in governmental agencies; and technologists, engineers, specialists, and technology managers from various industries. Contents
IJAD mainly publishes original and peer reviewed technical papers of archival quality. Surveys of newly maturing topics in the field, major technology developments in the industry, review papers and book reviews will also be published. Breakthroughs can be communicated via notes, commentaries, and letters to the editor. Contribution may be by submission or invitation, and suggestions for special issues and publications are welcome. Subject Coverage
Topics suited to IJAD include, but are not limited to:
- Aerodynamics of aircraft (commercial, military, and general aviation)
- Aerodynamics of space and re-entry vehicles
- Aerodynamics of road and off-road vehicles (consumer vehicles, commercial vehicles, and racing vehicles)
- Aerodynamics of rail and tracked vehicles
- Aerodynamics related to sport and leisure activities (cycling, running, skiing, etc)
- Aerodynamics of naturally flying objects (insects, birds)
- Aerodynamics of civil structures (long span bridges, tall buildings, and space structures)
- Theoretical treatment of aerodynamics
- Experimental study and/or measurement technology of aerodynamics
- Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approach to aerodynamics
- Other relevant theoretical and experimental topics, and case studies
