Special Issue on: “Leadership, Learning and Collective Capacity Building”

Guest Editors:
Annick Janson, University of Auckland, New Zealand
Professor E. Allan Lind, Duke University, USA

Collective capacity building includes a wide range of learning processes playing out at either individual or organisational level. These learning processes may involve reflective practice, critical thinking, peer coaching or other such activities as undertaken in the course of leadership development programmes. This special issue will take an inclusive and pluralistic view towards understanding these learning processes using multidisciplinary approaches. We therefore invite submissions, which address any aspect of learning, leadership development and collective capacity building, looking at both the methods used to effect and appraise change.

We seek analytical and empirical papers covering any aspect of leadership development and collective capacity building through learning within any organisational context. Research approaches may include case studies, action research, ethnography, grounded theory, oral history, interviews, archival research, narrative analysis, discourse analysis and approaches integrating both qualitative and quantitative methods in innovative ways.
