Title: Developing emotionally intelligent organisations: an imperative for sustainable competitive edge
Abstract:
This paper tries to identify the human capabilities and competencies that work as enablers to achieve sustainable competitive advantage (SCA). It also discusses the emerging conceptualisation of Emotionally Intelligent Organisations (EIO). By examining various people competencies associated with sustainable competitive edge and the characteristics of EIO, it is observed that a high degree of commonality exists between them. Evidence is presented that supports the argument that creating EIO can pave the way for sustainable competitive edge. Skills such as leadership, creativity, innovation and teamwork, which are deemed necessary to use and design the core competencies in a manner that creates superior response than competitors and thereby, results in a sustainable competitive edge for the organisations, are the very capabilities which form the lifeblood of EIO. Paper concludes with the recommendations to help organisations become emotionally intelligent.

Title: Collective linkage for rural community welfare: a collaborative effort by Amul Dairy and Tribhuvandas Foundation
Abstract:
Inter-organisational arrangements can benefit stakeholders and the community at large. Collaborations exhibit potential in community healthcare services as they address native problems efficiently and are less reliant on public infrastructure. The paper attempts to throw light upon the successful linkage of a farmer cooperative (Amul Dairy) with an NGO (Tribhuvandas Foundation (TF)), an integrated, symbiotic developmental approach with a keen focus on community-based primary healthcare. The study adopts a holistic design with an inductive, longitudinal case approach and follows an exploratory research methodology. Amul Dairy provides sustainable livelihood opportunities to dairy farmers to acquire financial stability and multi-dimensional growth thereby empowering them to contribute to their communities at large, while TF contributes to community healthcare and social welfare through myriad initiatives. These joint efforts have paved the way to address member well-being in cooperative set-ups, apart from providing wider social community welfare benefits through a unique collaborative model.

Title: Statistics of sustainable development evolution in Colombia
Abstract:
Sustainable development is a key focus of government programs at all levels worldwide. Colombia has embraced this trend, implementing various initiatives. This article reviews Colombia's progress in sustainable development, using indicators like ecological footprint, biocapacity, Human Development Index (HDI), and energy data. The analysis shows that while Colombia's HDI has increased, so has its ecological footprint (1.6 hectares per capita), indicating that if everyone lived like Colombians, we would need 1.25 Earths. However, energy intensity and emissions have decreased. Long-term policies aim to diversify the energy mix with non-conventional renewable sources, focusing on environmental management, energy efficiency, service coverage and regional integration.

Title: Comparative assessment of green growth indicators for China and India
Abstract:
The paper empirically analyses green growth development in India and China as they are the emerging economies of Asia. Economic growth with the environmental and social well being is vital for achieving green growth. The study uses longitudinal data for both countries from 1990 to 2016 for empirical analysis. <em>T</em>-test and hierarchical clustering have been used to find significant differences between India and China. We found that green growth is a challenging course for both the countries though their growth patterns are entirely different with China leading the green growth pathway with advanced technology and structure. In India, apart from the enforced regulations, the activities need to be implemented for meaningful progress in the area of green growth. The outcome of the paper depicts the difference in growth patterns of both the countries concerning green growth indicators.

Title: The impact of the 'No Choice Option' on the performance of women-owned businesses in patriarchal societies
Abstract:
The female' underperformance' discourse is a well-established and often disputed notion in entrepreneurship research. This paper seeks to challenge performance measures and re-evaluate the association between gender and business performance using non-conventional performance indicators. This paper uses the Theory of Planned Behaviour and patriarchy as the theoretical frameworks, and Feminist Poststructuralist Discourse Analysis (FPDA) as the method to critically evaluate the association between choice intentions and performance in the context of women-owned businesses in a patriarchal society such as Nigeria, where often success is not required, expected nor welcomed. The data drawn from 100 women entrepreneurs found that 'no choice' or 'forced choice' impacted women's entrepreneurial intentions and, consequently, their business performance. This paper develops a critical analysis of the association between the 'No Choice Option' and the underperformance of women-owned businesses. This association can explain the high failure rates of women-owned businesses in Nigeria.

Title: Is there a relationship between organisational climate and job satisfaction? A view from a systematic review and meta-analysis
Abstract:
This study focused on determining the relationship between organisational climate and job satisfaction in education, health and other sectors, as its long-term effects can affect organisational performance. Using a PRISMA-supported systematic review method, a literature search was conducted in Scopus and Web of Science databases. Quantitative articles with correlation, regression or effect size data were included. In addition, meta-analysis was conducted in Jamovi, where the r-z coefficient was transformed using a maximum confidence estimator. The title-based search strategy yielded 112 articles, but only 30 met the inclusion criteria. The meta-analysis revealed a positive correlation between climate and job satisfaction in education, health and other sectors. It is concluded that a favourable organisational climate helps keep employees satisfied; that is, employees with an adequate organisational climate will feel more satisfied at work, whether in education, health or any other sector. Therefore, senior and middle management must ensure an appropriate organisational climate.

Title: Evaluating sustainable development goals through market capitalisation: where we are half way and future research ahead
Abstract:
The study shows the situation of the 2030 Agenda halfway between 2015 and 2030. The empirical study aims to determine which SDGs are positively correlated with market capitalisation of publicly listed companies. Through a multiple linear regression between the 17 SDGs and market capitalisation in 26 developed and 48 emerging countries, the study finds that, for the most part, SDGs are inversely correlated with the market capitalisation of the countries studied. Therefore, companies would tend to undertake initiatives only associated with those SDGs that are positively correlated (2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12 and 17) with market capitalisation. This worrying inconsistency reflects a merely transactional implementation of initiatives, which becomes more acute depending on the type of country (developed or emerging). Seven potential factors are proposed as an explanation based on the rigorous literature review, and four relevant fields of future research are opened as a result of the study.

Title: Sustainable finance and social development: do institutional quality and ICT infrastructure matter?
Abstract:
The link between social sustainability and sustainable finance has drawn considerable scholarly attention due to its significance in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Among the critical enablers for achieving these goals are strong institutional frameworks and robust ICT infrastructure. This study examines the effectiveness of sustainable finance in promoting social sustainability, with particular emphasis on the moderating roles of institutional quality and ICT infrastructure. Using the PMG-ARDL model, the study analyses panel data from G20 and non-G20 countries spanning 2000-2020. Findings reveal that both green and social finance are key drivers of social sustainability. However, the interaction between ICT and the social finance-social sustainability nexus diminishes its effectiveness in both G20 and non-G20 contexts, as disadvantaged groups often face barriers to accessing digital financial services, limiting the benefits of social finance. Institutional quality amplifies the positive impact of social finance on social sustainability across all countries studied.

Title: Enhancing MSME performance: the role of FinTech literacy, financial literacy and competitive pressure
Abstract:
This study investigates the influence of financial technology literacy, financial literacy and competitive pressure on the performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jakarta. Data were collected from 77 MSME owners and managers through a structured questionnaire distributed with the assistance of the Jakarta MSME Office (Dinas PPKUKM). The responses were analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results show that financial technology literacy and financial literacy have significant positive effects on MSME performance, while competitive pressure also has a positive but relatively smaller effect. These findings emphasise the importance of strengthening financial capabilities and digital readiness among MSMEs. Practically, the study recommends targeted financial literacy training programs, the provision of simple FinTech adoption toolkits and mentoring initiatives to enhance MSMEs' readiness to compete in dynamic markets.

Title: Validating a comprehensive financial literacy questionnaire for Kuwaiti youth: a factor analysis study
Abstract:
This study aims to validate a questionnaire designed to measure financial literacy among youth in Kuwait. The instrument was developed using items sourced from various existing tools and tailored to the Kuwaiti context, with a focus on youth aged 18-25 years. The questionnaire was initially divided into seven domains, covering different aspects of financial literacy, including budgeting, savings, investments, debt management, financial planning, risk awareness and digital financial tools. A sample of 1064 participants completed the questionnaire. Exploratory factor analysis (PCA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were employed to evaluate the structure, reliability and validity of the instrument. The results of the CFA confirmed that financial literacy can be grouped into four distinct domains: Consuming Behaviour (CB), Information Literacy (IL), Financial Practices (FP) and Investment Behaviour (IB). These four domains emerged as the most reliable and validated constructs for measuring financial literacy among youth in Kuwait. The study successfully developed and validated a comprehensive tool for assessing financial literacy among Kuwaiti youth. The confirmed domains provide a robust framework for future research and policy development aimed at enhancing financial literacy education and interventions in Kuwait.

Title: The truth about bricolage, dispositional optimism, and psychological wellbeing in entrepreneurship: evidence from a systematic review
Abstract:
While entrepreneurship offers personal fulfilment, autonomy and financial growth, it also poses significant psychological wellbeing challenges. Despite growing interest in this area, existing literature lacks an integrated analysis of how entrepreneurial bricolage and dispositional optimism jointly influence entrepreneurs' psychological wellbeing. This study employed Paul and Criado's (2020) systematic literature review protocol, drawing on articles from <em>Journal Storage</em> (<em>JSTOR</em>) and <em>Scopus</em> to develop an integrated research model. A review of 11 relevant studies revealed that entrepreneurial bricolage enables entrepreneurs to optimise limited resources, fostering job satisfaction and positive affect. Dispositional optimism enhances coping abilities, contributing to positive affect, job satisfaction and life satisfaction. By bringing together these underexplored yet impactful constructs, this study proposes an exploratory integrated research model that represents an initial step toward linking the behavioural (bricolage) and cognitive-affective (optimism) dimensions of entrepreneurial practice within a holistic framework.

Title: The effect of product-, organisational-, individual-, and environmental-level factors on brand loyalty in the SME sector: a systematic literature review
Abstract:
By adopting a transparent and replicable approach, this study seeks to improve the quality of assessment and scope of extant studies on factors driving brand loyalty in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), reinforcing the empirical base for future research and providing actionable insights for practitioners aiming to execute well-rounded brand loyalty strategies. A systematic literature review of 25 articles retrieved from Scopus and ProQuest databases was conducted. Packaging and quality influence brand loyalty at the product level. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) practices, value creation, and loyalty programmes drive brand loyalty at the organisational level. At the individual level, consumer hedonic shopping and trust predict brand loyalty, while store ambience acts as a key environmental variable. The study suggests a comprehensive marketing strategy integrating multiple-level factors to effectively boost brand loyalty in SMEs.

Title: Higher education institutions-led entrepreneurial ecosystem building: a systematic review from university-industry knowledge exchange perspective
Abstract:
This systematic literature review explores how universities contribute to Entrepreneurial Ecosystems (EEs) through Knowledge Exchange (KE) with industry. While universities provide critical resources and specialised knowledge that foster venture creation and growth, most prior studies have examined university-industry collaboration broadly rather than its interaction with EEs. To address this gap, 21 peer-reviewed English-language articles published between 2015 and 2025 were retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science and analysed using bibliometric and thematic methods. Articles unrelated to university-industry KE or outside the timeframe were excluded. The review found that universities engage in KE via consultancy, contract research, collaborative research, licensing, patents, Continuous Professional Development (CPD), research commercialisation and open innovation communities. These mechanisms promote the commercialisation of new technologies and ideas, strengthen EEs and foster spinoffs, high-technology startups and impact-driven entrepreneurship, underscoring the multifaceted nature of university-industry KE.

Title: Examining the inhibiting factors of sustainable entrepreneurship: evidence from emerging economies
Abstract:
This study investigates the barriers to sustainable entrepreneurship in the context of emerging economies, with a particular focus on Nigeria. A quantitative research approach was adopted, using structured questionnaires distributed to entrepreneurs across the manufacturing, sales and food services sectors. From 310 valid responses, the analysis identified various challenges business owners encounter in maintaining sustainable operations. The results emphasise the importance of economic stability and financial access in supporting sustainable business practices. Without an enabling environment, long-term sustainability becomes difficult to achieve. Although widely used empirical techniques were applied, this research offers valuable findings drawn from the Nigerian MSME sector, which remains underrepresented in the literature on sustainability. The study also reflects on its theoretical foundation, highlighting the need to explore additional perspectives beyond resource-based and institutional theories. Furthermore, it calls for a more comprehensive approach to understanding government support and financial barriers. The study provides insights that can inform policy and guide future efforts to strengthen sustainable entrepreneurship in similar contexts.
