The Best-Worst Method (BWM) is used to rank the units, and the Charnes-Cooper-Rhodes (CCR) Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model is utilised to construct the pairwise comparison vector. The unit with the lowest efficiency is identified and compared with other units using DEA for each pair of units. Similarly, the unit with the highest efficiency is identified next and compared with the different units. A linear programming problem is formulated and solved to find the optimal weight of the units and rank them. The pairwise comparisons in the proposed BWM-DEA method are highly consistent because of the objective evaluation process. The proposed method has several advantages, including fewer and more consistent comparisons, leading to more reliable results than similar ranking methods in DEA. Journal: Int. J. of Applied Management Science Pages: 1-26 Issue: 1 Volume: 17 Year: 2025 Keywords: DEA; data envelopment analysis; MCDA; multi-criteria decision analysis; BWM; best worst method; analytics hierarchy process; pairwise comparison; ranking. This study identifies the gaps between the two by analysing the mission statements of fourteen international automakers and two Iranian automakers using Text Mining and K-means techniques. The analysis reveals that global companies are clustered into two groups based on the concepts of 'Custom' and 'Live'. In comparison, Iranian companies are clustered into two groups using the concepts of 'Benefit' and 'Abil'. The findings suggest that both foreign and Iranian companies tend to use vague concepts, but Iranian companies focus more on beneficence and company empowerment while prioritising the national market. Conversely, international companies prioritise enhancing customer satisfaction. This study highlights significant differences in the words used in Iranian and global automakers' vision and mission statements, emphasising the importance of understanding cultural nuances when creating these statements. In this regard, layoff is one such strategy commonly followed by them. However, when an organisation lays off its employees, it not only sends a bad message but also affects the psychological wellbeing of its survivors. In this regard, the present study tried to decipher the impact which an organisational layoff has on its survivors' psychological wellbeing. The results of this study based on 435 responses from Delhi/NCR-based IT sector employees showed that when an organisation lays off its people, the psychological wellbeing of its survivors is deeply impacted. Although with social support from their family, friends and colleagues they do combat such issues successfully but the gender seems to play no role in this endeavour. The findings of this study contribute to the existing body of knowledge on the impact of layoffs on survivors' psychological well-being and provide practical implications for IT companies. We believe that understanding the mediating role of gender and social support will assist organisations in implementing targeted interventions and support systems to enhance the psychological well-being of survivors. This study proposes a time-series forecasting method based on a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network to accurately predict the amount of waste daily collected. The LSTM model was trained using data points that align with the same phase of the seasonal cycle as the forecasted point, this approach preserves the chronological order of the data while focusing on points corresponding to the same phase of the seasonal cycle. To better illustrate the LSTM neural network's accuracy and robustness, a Back-Propagation Artificial Neural Network (BP-ANN) based on the Levenberg-Marquardt training method was also used. The results demonstrated that the proposed LSTM outperformed in terms of accuracy and precision, proving its excellence in capturing the complex patterns. Journal: Int. Heuristics are termed as 'rules of thumb' or 'mental shortcuts' that help in making inferences and assumptions from the available data to make decisions. Heuristics are the strategies that could be applied to problem-solving and are very often used to reduce the complexity of problems. The data collection is done among 602 individual investors in Chennai city using multi-stage sampling method. The regression analysis done using SPSS revealed that except anchoring all the other variables (availability, representativeness, gambler's fallacy and overconfidence) have a significant and positive impact on the financial risk tolerance. The main hypothesis was that engagement in music making would relate to team effectiveness and team satisfaction. Undergraduate students participated in an experiment where they were given introductory explanations regarding musical terms. Their task included a performance of a short rhythm and a spontaneous composition of a melody for this rhythm. Each performing team was watched by observers. Supporting the study hypothesis, the ratings of the musical experience among performers were associated with self-perceived team effectiveness and team satisfaction. These associations, along with actual evaluations of team effectiveness and team satisfaction, were lower among observers than performers. The findings indicated the potential contribution of musical activity to team behaviour in organisations. They also suggested the need of team members to be actively involved in the musical task rather than stay in an observing role. Journal: Int. The results of the theoretical and empirical research analysed have allowed the description of theoretical hypotheses that propose the multidimensional character of the value system. The cognitive dimension is hypothesised to be salient in the measurement methods and in the connection models it is also possible to hypothesise the involvement of the affective and motivational dimensions in the internal and external actions of organisations. The paper collects the most important theories on the measurement of values and analyses some relevant research studies that have applied measurement techniques. The measures of values and connections can be analysed according to a descriptive model which involves the affective, cognitive, motivational and communicative dimensions. Journal: Int. These insights are generated using statistical techniques that forecast business needs and analyse data to make informed business decisions. Using historical data, a predictive model is built using a statistical approach, commonly employing methods such as regression, time series and cluster analysis. Machine Learning (ML) algorithms enhance this process by automating tasks and uncovering insights. Traditional analysis methods struggle with the complex pattern and dynamic nature of the data, leading to difficulties in interpreting relationships. To address this issue, the Performance Boost - Predictive Model (PB-PM) is proposed, which comprises two levels: level 1 employs Linear Regression (LR) and level 2 employs Ridge regression, Lasso regression, Random Forest (RF) regression and Extreme Gradient Boost (XGBoost) regression. The performance of the PB-PM model is evaluated using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and R-squared score (R²). The analysis result indicates XGBoost regression algorithm yields the highest R² and lowest MAE for the proposed PB-PM, respectively 0.23 and 0.990. Journal: Int. This paper presents the Dynamic Capabilities and Strategic Innovation Integration (DCSI) Framework, a comprehensive guide aimed at synergising dynamic capabilities and purposeful strategic innovation. Rooted in foundational theories such as Teece's dynamic capabilities framework and Christensen's disruptive innovation theory, the framework delineates key concepts, including the proactive nature of dynamic capabilities and the deliberate pursuit of strategic innovation. Through cross-functional collaboration and dynamic feedback loops, the DCSI Framework offers a structured approach for organisations to embed dynamic capabilities into the fabric of strategic innovation processes. A multi-perspective approach was used, including bibliometric analysis and thematic analysis. In addition to bibliometric analysis of prestigious papers in related context, thematic analysis is conducted to synthesise knowledge of basis literature and create main research themes. Research results state systematic literature and emphasise seven themes within research setting: Technology adoption, Ease, Risk, Trust, Benefit, Mobility and Gender. Importantly, mobility is considered as a trendy research path in the future. This study's novelty stems from its innovative use of bibliometric and thematic analysis, which enriches the existing literature on technological acceptance by exploring big data from Scopus and Web of Science databases. Furthermore, thematic mapping facilitates the identification of significant factors that influence customer acceptance of technology in ride-hailing services. As a result, the value of such research has both scholarly and executive implications. Journal: Int. Senior management must prioritise the appropriate management of working capital to ensure the company's long-term stability and sustainable development. This study analyses a data set of 7451 firm-year observations from A-share listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges from 2012 to 2019 to evaluate the impact of supplier concentration and internal control on the efficacy of corporate working capital management. The empirical data indicate that increased supplier concentration is associated with a diminished cash conversion cycle, hence improving the efficiency of working capital utilisation. This suggests that fostering robust, cooperative relationships with a select group of essential suppliers might improve cash flow management and accelerate capital turnover. The study additionally reveals that the internal control system positively moderates this association. Implementing strong internal control systems can enhance the beneficial impact of supplier concentration on the effectiveness of working capital management. Journal: Int.
