The distinctive point of this study with previous research is the use of different variables and measurement method. Previous researchers examined the relationship between variables used while the researchers wanted to test the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable and to use control variables of the firm size and company growth. The hypothesis of this study is based on stakeholder theory, legitimacy theory, signalling theory and political economic theory. Purposive sampling method is used to gather the data of the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and PROPER program 2010-2014. Multiple linear regressions are used as the analysis method, and type of the data is secondary by using the documentation method. The study result shows that environmental performance and environmental disclosure positively significantly affect financial performance. Journal: Int. The data collection in this qualitative research involved interviews with producers and consumers. Results corroborate that the relevant marketing strategies for a competitive advantage for Chocodot products are as follows: 1) targeting the teenager market group; 2) standardising selling prices; 3) improving taste quality; 4) reducing the frequency of product replacement; 5) expanding distribution and a product line; 6) strengthening positioning as Indonesian Chocolate. The advantage strategy of Choco.Dol is directed to the efforts of communicating integrated product advantages, expanding distribution according to the PICNIC dodol system, becoming a shadow of Chocodot distribution, stopping the expansion of the new product line of the chocolate category, branding to stores, closing access to Chocodot products in the outlets of PICNIC producers and intensive publication on mass media. This research is qualitative in nature, in accordance with Latif's thoughts on the historicity, rationality, and actuality of Pancasila (Indonesia's five pillars of the nation). This idea is considered appropriate to be used to construct the basis of tax policy founded on the ideology of Pancasila. The results reveal that the taxpayers' initial view on tax compliance is based on an assumption of 'homo economicus' (economic man), which prioritises individualism, materialism, rationalism, and atheism. The constructed interpretation of tax compliance is centralised on religiosity, humanity, and 'gotong royong' (mutual cooperation) in order to realise the embodiment of social justice. The basic assumption for the interpretation of tax compliance is socio-religious, being a reflection of the Indonesian human character. Journal: Int. The objective of this study is to analyse the ESOP implementation determinants. They include total assets (TA), debt to equity ratio (DER), market to book value ratio (MBR), growth, current ratio (CR), and time interest earned ratio (TIER) on the implementation of ESOP for companies in Indonesia. The population of the research was all of the companies which implement the ESOP and which are listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Its samples were 34 companies. The result of this study shows that the company size, leverage, growth, and liquidity has a significantly negative effect on the ESOP implementation. The enterprises which valued from the MBR and TIER have a significant positive effect on the ESOP implementation. Journal: Int. Contractual provision such as an indemnity and mutual hold harmless clause is used as a tool in allocating the risks. However, as a consequence of the private and government litigation arising from the Macondo oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010, evidence suggests that operators generally are seeking to modify the established approach to liability allocation through individual contract negotiations with contractors. This scenario has significant and potentially adverse financial implications for the contractors and for the long-term sustainability of the industry. An empirical study was conducted to investigate the issues and problems with regard to contractual risk allocation in oilfield service contracts in Malaysia. The methodology employed in this paper will essentially be a combination of literature review and qualitative study. Journal: Int. First, the specific objective is proposed to consider an empirical analysis employing the panel Bayesian vector autoregressive (PBVAR) model. Secondly, the empirical study is aimed to analyse the driven factor between tourism demands and service sectors by adapting Granger-causality Bayesian test. Technically, the simulated computation called Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) approach is employed to investigate the research's findings. Yearly time-series data of tourism growth (tourist arrivals) and economic growth (service sectors) in ASEAN-3 countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia were observed during 1996-2015. The empirical results of this study will deeply clarify the linkage between tourism demands and economy in ASEAN-3 countries and give recommendations to more assure that a suitable tourism policy is appropriately activated. The objective of this research is to examine the influence of five personality traits, called the big five personality traits that consist of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, and openness to experiences on impulsive buying behaviour. Using the purposive sampling method, respondents were collected from 150 Indonesian young consumers with the help of self-administered questionnaire survey approach. Data analysis was done using multiple regression analysis. Importantly, five hypotheses were examined and two were found to be supported. The result showed that extraversion and agreeableness personalities partially influenced impulsive buying behaviour. Also, results indicated that conscientiousness, emotional stability, and openness to experiences did not influence impulsive buying behaviour. This research is one of the initial attempts in Indonesian context to understand the importance of personality value among young consumers directing to impulsive buying behaviour. Journal: Int. This paper aims to determine the factors that have a bearing on the adoption of mobile banking services by using a unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model. An empirical descriptive study was carried out in Udupi district of the state of Karnataka to collect data using judgement sampling procedure. The data were analysed using partial least square method of structural equation modelling. Performance expectancy and effort expectancy significantly influences the intention to adopt. Multi-group analysis by gender reveals that the effect of performance expectancy on adoption intention is considerably higher for male than female population. For widespread adoption of mobile banking, rural customers should perceive the process of banking transactions as convenient, easy-to-use and understand and publicise the usefulness of electronic medium over traditional medium through awareness campaigns. Using the indices representing the impossible trinity, including MI, ERS, and FO, as well as the regression models based on the ARDL method, the authors found that during the study period, the Vietnamese government had selected the exchange rate stability on the list of priorities. The combination with another goal in the impossible trinity, however, changed over two phases. In the period before the crisis, the financial integration was more focused while in the period after the financial crisis, the goal of monetary independence received greater attention. We also discovered that the Vietnamese government was likely to regulate the impossible trinity policies under the intermediary regime that showed the indicators of the impossible trinity with the value approaching 0.5. The results show that the profitability of momentum return was inversely related to its holding period. The average return for 60 days strategy was significantly higher than buy-and-hold, while the return for 10 days strategy was significantly lower from buy-and-hold. In the section of momentum return sources, it is found that sector rotation is significant in explaining momentum returns in both winner and loser portfolio for all time horizons, while other variables have mixed influence. The advantage that a firm has over its competitors can be defined as its relative efficiency in transforming the performance of key success factors into the firm's profitability. We classify firm-year observations into lifecycle stages and measure the efficiency using data envelopment analysis (DEA) in each of the different lifecycle stages. Our results indicate that the efficiency has a positive relationship with the stock price of a firm and decreases (or increases) the value relevance of book value per share (BPS) (or earnings per share (EPS)). The current study captures a firm's competitive advantage by a single efficiency score and reveals that the efficiency has a positive impact on firm value. Journal: Int. Abstract: The common (consolidated) corporate tax base (C(C)CTB) represents one of the most ambitious projects in the history of corporate taxation in the European Union, which introduced cross-border loss offsetting and the consolidation of profits or losses with apportionment between Member States via an apportionment formula. The implementation of the C(C)CTB system can bring the advantages, such as reduced compliance costs of taxation, unified rules for tax base construction, the establishment of the possibility of cross-border loss offsetting, the elimination of transfer pricing issues and others. With respect to SMEs, we research whether SMEs would prefer to opt for C(C)CTB system, mainly in the context of advantages which are offered by this system. Based on the result of our research we can conclude that SMEs would opt for the CC(C)TB system. Journal: Int. In this paper, I am comparing different levelised cost of energy in per megawatt-hour for an old and new technology clean coal power plant to other electricity producing power plants. A hypothetical carbon certificate price per tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent is estimated that relates the extra cost of this new coal power plant to the cheapest but dirtiest option, a lignite power plant. The results show that the Thai government is willing to subsidize the abatement of air pollution. Furthermore, renewables keep being more expensive even after including the external costs of air pollution, except for onshore wind energy. However, no comment can be made which option should be strictly preferred as the electricity price and the environmental costs are only part of the political decision for a country on which fuel mix to choose. Annual data of 34 provinces in Indonesia during 2013-2016 are collected for conducting this research. Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used to measure the efficiency levels. In addition, the efficiencies' performance also measured by using Malmquist index. We found that, during the analysis period, the efficiency levels of local government expenditures of provinces outside of Java Island are still deficient. DKI Jakarta, DI Yogyakarta, and West Java Province are always located in the efficient frontiers. However, East Kalimantan, Papua, and South Sumatera have been the most improved provinces among others. Further study on the impact of exogenous factors affecting the efficiency scores through Tobit regression yields that Population, Government accountability, Democratic Index, number of universities and local investments have a positive-significant impact on the efficiency scores whereas Area coverage correlates negatively.
