In this scoping study we examine the focus, methods and approaches used to extract interlinkages between the SDGs and their targets. To that end, we perform a systematic literature review and discuss the outcomes of an expert solicitation workshop with SDG experts to generate a framework of analysis. We evidence that the interlinkages domain is still exploratory, largely neglecting the local level and being disconnected to policy making. Methods used predominantly account for statistical and conceptual associations and correlations between SDGs, targets and indicators, and not for causal ones; hardly replicated, reproduced and verified. We therefore propose a framework of analysis, which takes into account those gaps to generate a process of integrating interlinkages into the policy and decision making process. Journal: Int. Building understanding and integrity in KQA practices Abstract: We take up the challenge of publicly accountable deliberation processes for building integrity of knowledge claims in situations of controversy. We characterise knowledge quality appraisal (KQA) in a perspective of 'post normal science' (PNS), and propose the structuring of KQA as a process of deliberative multi-criteria and multi-actor evaluation, with a 4-dimensional framework (what, who, why and how) for 'extended peer community' dialogue. Turning to the question, to what extent can such procedures be effective, we insist that implementing a robust KQA procedure in situations of societal controversy can, both in theory and in practice, be only imperfect at best. Nonetheless, deliberative KQA methods can be motivated, on epistemological as well as moral grounds, in support of (utopian) ideals of inclusive, open, convivial, and humane societies. Journal: Int. This study also examined the persuasive mechanisms that mediated the relationships between these antecedents and purchase intentions, namely attitudes toward purchasing sustainable apparel and sustainable self-identity. Data was collected through an online survey from a convenience sample of 577 college students in China. The structural equation modelling results indicated that only subjective norms had a direct influence on Generation Z's purchase intentions. Notably, both attitudes and sustainable self-identity mediated the influences of Generation Z's past sustainable behaviours and subjective norms on purchase intentions. This study extended the utilisation of the theory of reasoned action and the innovation-decision process, offering valuable insights for marketers and policymakers. Journal: Int. With a quantitative approach, an online survey was distributed in Germany (550) and South Africa (555) based on quota sampling. The independent variables analysed were the sustainability core-values of consumers, namely prioritisation, planning/habits, commitment/sacrifice and knowledge/information. Additionally, consumers' clothing preferences, such as exclusivity, functionality, price-insensitivity and aesthetics, were further independent variables. Dependent variables were the intentions and the actual sustainable purchases of clothing. Results indicated that sustainability core-values were the most significant factors impacting consumers' intentions and actual sustainable clothing purchases. Furthermore, the intention to purchase clothing sustainably was a vital factor influencing actual sustainable purchases. This was confirmed as the final outcome demonstrated a minimal intention-behaviour gap in both countries. Journal: Int. In following this growing body of literature, the present paper aims to formalise, and then verify, the role of human capital on environmental quality. Precisely, from a theoretical point of view, the work introduces the ecological identity into a basic growth model that is based on human capital. By increasing sensitivity and concern for environmental issues, human capital can reduce the impact of economic activity on the environment, as well as adding its positive effect on economic growth. This key assumption of the theoretical model is empirically tested through a panel analysis on 81 national economies (62 low-and middle-income economies and 19 high-income economies) over a period of more than 20 years. The paper finds a direct and positive link between sustainable development and an advanced stage of tertiary education (namely, a Master's degree or a PhD). This result could potentially be a good indicator for the future of the environment and for humankind. Journal: Int. Based on the inclusion of these new concepts, an enlarged frame of trade, environment, and development is proposed which forms the basis for a reinterpretation of standard WTO articles making a more inclusive approach possible to stop climate change. For instance, the local content requirement is discussed as a means to support citizens of developing countries to generate their renewable energy sources combined with a reinterpretation of Intellectual Property Rights to make the transfer of technology possible of renewable energy in the less developed parts of the world. The suggested solution is a cross-régime/forum agreement to reduce climate risks by integrating trade into the 2030 Agenda and its 17 SDGs resulting in a reduction of climate warming which is much less costly than the looming future costs and liabilities caused by climate change. Therefore, this article proposes a fuzzy logic-based evaluation method for the adaptability of highway toll stations. Firstly, establish an evaluation system for the adaptability of highway toll stations, divide the adaptability standards of toll stations, and obtain the final evaluation indicators through correlation analysis method. Then, the grey correlation analysis method is used to determine the degree of correlation of the development trend of the grey process, determine the weights, and calculate the grey correlation coefficient; finally, the combination weight of indicators is determined using fuzzy logic to obtain the final fitness evaluation certainty, achieving evaluation. The results indicate that the method proposed in this paper improves the evaluation effect of adaptability of highway toll stations, with a maximum accuracy of 0.99. Journal: Int. First, set up the screening process of logistics enterprise supply chain operation risk evaluation indicators, and determine the key risk evaluation indicators. Then, the relationship network of risk evaluation indicators is constructed and the evaluation indicators are pretreated. Finally, the reliability degree of the index is calculated by the joint probability distribution function, and the construction of the supply chain operation risk evaluation model of logistics enterprises based on the Monte Carlo algorithm is completed. The test results show that the evaluation accuracy of the proposed method is always higher than 98%, and the time cost is always lower than 2 s, which can effectively improve the evaluation accuracy and shorten the evaluation time. Firstly, starting from the five levels of supply, demand, economy, politics, and others, establish an indicator set of real estate price influencing factors, and then denoise the data based on the independent components of the five types of data. Mine the data needed for price prediction through traversal data. Finally, calculate the general prediction error, and use the proximity technology to predict the real estate prices of small and medium-sized cities. Experiment shows that the retention rate of the prediction results of this method is 93.4%-95.7%, and the approximate root mean square error is 0.058-0.079, which shows that the mining effect of this method is better and the prediction results are more effective. Utilising Landsat ETM+ remote sensing imagery, a multi-layer perceptron algorithm is employed to detect and identify agricultural non-point source pollution areas. The Min-Cut algorithm is used for remote sensing image segmentation of agricultural non-point source pollution targets. Remote sensing image changes are detected based on the segmentation results and difference diagram. Intelligent monitoring of agricultural non-point source pollution is achieved by combining the detection results of remote sensing image changes with relevant monitoring indicators. Experimental findings demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a monitoring coverage rate exceeding 96.3%, the mean accuracy of pollution concentration monitoring is 97.1%, the maximum accuracy of pollution load monitoring is 99.3%.
