This research explored how entrepreneurial architecture and specifically, storytelling, has become a strategic tool that contributes to the achievement of several outcomes including diversity goals. Document collection and semi-structured interviews took place with high-level leaders in which the purpose, use, and characteristics of storytelling were revealed along with exposing the relationship with diversity. The need and ability to adapt and relate narratives emerged as highlights to successfully use storytelling as a strategic tool. The findings of this study will help service based industries to identify areas of opportunity and potential strategies to strengthen their diversity, selection, and retention achievements. The paper is intended to discern whether the actions of anonymous are considered ethical. In order to determine the ethics of their activities, this study discusses five major operations induced by anonymous, including ethical implications relating to each. The research indicates that of the five operations, only one operation provided substantial evidence that demonstrates unethical behaviour by the group. Journal: Int. Samsung and how big data analytics might have changed the outcome Abstract: In today's rapidly advancing society, big data analytics is increasingly adopted to enhance business functions. Some industries, however, are more reluctant to adopt this new technology, namely the legal industry. The legal industry would benefit from big data analytics in the form of preventing lawsuits from occurring and predicting the outcome of cases. This study presents an analysis of the infamous and ongoing Apple v. Samsung case. It then suggests and concludes that a link can be made between litigation strategies and big data analytics, specifically by presenting a hypothetical application of big data analytics to Apple v. Samsung. Journal: Int. J. of Qualitative Research in Services Pages: 21-35 Issue: 1 Volume: 3 Year: 2018 Keywords: Apple v. This qualitative case study examines the TRS related perceptions of senior managers of a large retail company headquartered in the USA and operates over 3,000 retail locations across the USA and Mexico. In particular, it investigates whether employees have a change in their perceptions of their employers in the light of TRS adoption. The findings suggest that employees react to TRS in a manner that broadly aligns with the tenets of the social exchange theory (SET) and the theory of incentives. Certain issues related to the principal-agent problem were also evident in the employee perceptions. It was observed that the use of TRS created positive vibes and became a lever to subtly communicate change advocacy in the case company. In other words, TRS could foster both social and economic exchanges in organisations. Journal: Int. These diseases include preventable conditions such as: heart disease, diabetes, and obesity (CDC, 2017). Consumers are increasingly turning to 'healthy' food options in an attempt to do their part to fight this increasingly important issue. Food manufacturers have responded by providing ever-greater numbers of foods labelled at 'wholesome' or 'natural'. But are these foods really what they are touted to be? The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is the US agency tasked with protecting consumers and overseeing food labelling. This paper looks at the monumental task facing this agency and the issues and constraints that hamper their ability to fully fulfil their mandate. Journal: Int. J. of Qualitative Research in Services Pages: 59-69 Issue: 1 Volume: 3 Year: 2018 Keywords: Food and Drug Administration; FDA; Federal Trade Commission; FTC; misleading advertising; false advertising; product labelling; food safety; food labelling. The main data collection method involved 35 in-depth interviews with actual Omani outbound travellers. The analysis process led to the development of five themes regarding the influence of social media on their destination choice. These themes have been labelled as the credibility of social media information; the influence of age on the use of social media; the advancement of technology has a huge impact on using social media; the effectiveness of social media as a marketing tool and social media and traditional media complement each other. Hence, based on these themes, it could be concluded that the majority of participants interviewed believe that social media has an effect on their destination choice. Finally, the contribution of the current study would result from aiding the tourism and marketing industries to understand the use and influence of social media on destination choice of Omani travellers (as representing Arab and Muslim tourists).
