Extended reality (XR) is an immersive technology that can evolve the current movie marketing mix to improve customer engagement and give them a more holistic viewing experience. The entertainment industry has faced severe financial losses with the closure of theatres and other outdoor channels. However, the over-the-top (OTT) platforms increased their subscribers as people were relegated to their homes due to the lockdown. This paper uses an exploratory study to find how XR usage can impact the movie marketing mix. Students from film schools in India were chosen as the key participants in this study, and the insights they shared were used to form testable propositions. Using this study, movie marketers and academicians can explore the role of new technologies like XR in designing promotional strategies. Journal: Int. In recent years, it has also started to attract the attention of academic researchers. In this paper, we carry out an exploratory bibliometric analysis to map the emerging academic field of HR analytics. By doing this, we provide more insight into the role of academic researchers in the evolution of HR analytics as a popular management concept. The bibliometric analysis draws on data extracted from the Scopus database, and analyses of the overall publication volume and growth trajectory, influential documents, authors, journals, and countries are performed. The results show that the academic discourse around HR analytics emerged relatively late and several years after the initial debate based on the practitioner-based literature. The findings are discussed in relation to the literature about the emergence and evolution of popular management concepts. Journal: Int. Value stream mapping is an effective enterprise improvement tool that visualises both intra and intercompany processes apprehending material and information flows with the time line that helps in elimination of waste. Sometimes, the reduction of non-value added activities in a production line results in work intensification and thus the workers are more subjected to musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). Green manufacturing deals with the integration of VSM with energy related metrics that focuses on the efficient usage of natural and non-renewable resources for sustainable production. The aim of this study is therefore to develop a methodological framework that gives synergistic interaction between ergonomic, environment and economic considerations in VSM. Hence, the elimination of non-value added activities is done not only by considering the economic aspect but also the ergonomic and environment aspects. Also, the three factors are ranked based on the multiple criteria decision making-analytical hierarchy process (MCDM-AHP). This approach is validated through a case study carried out in an Indian automotive industry with the increase in production rate by 7.4%, decrease in energy consumption by 0.34% and total cost by 3.92% successfully. The construction project management processes have a significant effect on construction quality. In this context, the study first identified the constraints responsible for poor workmanship in construction. They were categorised as external and internal constraints and classified into subcategories. The level of influence of each constraint on construction workmanship and the extent to which each constraint could be expected at worksites were identified and ranked through a questionnaire survey conducted among professionals. The five most significant constraints were thereafter identified and their correlation with workmanship. An effort to introduce an equation correlating the workmanship and the availability of influencing constraints is taken with the difficulties faced in collecting the data. Journal: Int. The SEW theory argues that family owners often emphasise other objectives than the traditional economic objective of maximising their return on invested capital. These other objectives might be referred to as socioemotional objectives and may for example be the need to retain control of the firm or to preserve the family's financial wealth over time. Findings from the literature on financial reporting in family firms are discussed in light of Berrone et al. 's (2012) FIBER model. Based on this discussion, we also identify gaps in the literature and future research opportunities. Journal: Int. To ensure the environmental performance at the organisational level in the supply chain, the business organisations have to work with different parties, as mentioned in organisational information theory. Nevertheless, the achievement of environmental performance is not ensured via sustainable supply chain collaboration. Hence, as highlighted in the coordination theory, transparent information must be generated within the sustainable supply chain collaboration to clinch environmental performance. Thus, this study investigates the role of supply chain visibility and supply chain traceability in the form of transparent information on the achievement of environmental performance led by sustainable supply chain collaboration, based on the business organisations of Sri Lanka, which have obtained environmental compliance certifications. In this paper, we propose to take a step back, in order to establish a few premises that are critical in the understanding of these topics. Firstly, we emphasise the importance of acknowledging the existence of two types of scientific hypotheses: universal-deterministic and probabilistic. Once this has been acknowledged and understood, we can then discuss the potential utility that case study research can have in the proposing and testing of scientific hypotheses, and the subsequent dissemination of knowledge amongst interested parties. We hope this paper can help ignite a much needed and detailed discussion about these themes and improve the standing of operations management as a practically relevant and valid empirical science. This has numerous significant motivational or disenchanting implications because they may envisage work and performance in ways that are unaccounted for by prevailing motivation practices. We hypothesise that TMT structure affects overall performance in relation to organisational decision-making ability and retention programs. We further construct that the role of TMT revolves around the head of the outcome of statistical analysis. The study confirms that conflict among TMT and coalition of team members against change or diversity is significantly associated with decision-making ability and executive retention programs. We find coherence between MD leadership credentials and TMT conflict and coalition. With the growing influence of ML in construction cost estimation, analysing this transformation that is in a great part unperceivable by humans becomes increasingly important. The ways in which technology transforms inputs into outputs are also the focus of the philosophy of technological mediation. The purpose of this study is to understand the mediating role that ML plays in construction cost estimation. An existing method for developing a ML cost estimation model for the tendering phase in construction engineering services was chosen as the subject of an exploratory case study. By applying concepts of technological intentionality, case-based reasoning and digital materials, the kind of technological mediation that ML technology provides between users of this technology and cost estimation in construction practice is discussed. However, no prior study investigates how different tourists' ascriptions to destination events could affect tourism destination brands' attachment. From the locus of control (LOC) theory perspectives which considers one of the crucial theories to treat consumer behaviour: individuals with an internal LOC (vs external LOC) attribute events' outcomes to themselves more than ascribing it to external causes. Thus, this study uses the LOC theory perspective to examine tourists' ascriptions, whether internal or external, with its impacts on attachment to tourism destination brands. Moreover, this study contributes theoretically by adding new constructs that help to fathom tourists' attribution toward destination brands, such as information, knowledge, and experiences at destinations with its impacts on tourists' LOC. Also, it provides potential ideas to test these constructs empirically. The theoretical and practical implications are discussed. Journal: Int. The evolution of a profession is dependent on context and involves formalisation. This paper recognises and addresses the need to measure the extent of profession formality. It reports the development and validation of a contextually sensitive index for the examination of profession formality. The index uses an attributional approach based on five dimensions: 'systematic theory', 'ethical codes', 'professional culture', 'professional authority' and 'community sanction'. For evaluation, PLS-SEM methodology is combined with empirical insights obtained from a sample of profession changers. Theoretical inferences and application recommendations are discussed. For inferential analysis, structural equation modelling (SEM) approach is applied. Results of the SEM revealed that altogether self-reward strategies, self-goal settings, self-talk, natural reward strategies, perceived autonomy, perceived competency and perceived relatedness explained substantial variance <i>R</i><SMALL>2</SMALL> 76.9% in measuring employee engagement at workplace. The moderating role of intrinsic motivation is confirmed in such a way that the relationship between employee work engagement and organisational performance will be stronger when intrinsic motivation is higher. Finding of the effect size analysis (<i>f</i><SMALL>2</SMALL>) established that perceived autonomy had the highest effect size in determining employee work engagement. Therefore, importance performance matrix analysis revealed that managers and policymakers must pay attention to employee perceived autonomy, employee intrinsic motivation and employee work engagement to boost organisational performance. We studied the challenges encountered when adopting XBRL, the effect after adopting XBRL, and the benefits gained after adopting XBRL in emerging markets. We did a systematic literature review of past papers and the perspectives of professionals. We used secondary data and existing literature for this study. The study concludes that XBRL could benefit stakeholders across the supply chain, and several alternatives were proposed to address the challenges. While the effects mainly give the stakeholders positive impacts that co-contribute to the benefits of using XBRL, further understanding regarding XBRL was also included to enhance the knowledge and awareness of the technology.
