IC Efficiency in state banks uses VAIC<SMALL>TM</SMALL> with measures of human capital efficiency (HCE), structural capital efficiency (SCE) and capital employed efficiency (CEE). Financial performance using company return is profitability measured by return on asset (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). The samples of the study were state-owned banks in the period of 2012-2016. This study uses panel data from the financial statements of state-owned banking companies. The results of this study show that VAIC<SMALL>TM</SMALL> has relationship with ROA, except CEE. However, ROE has no relationship with IC efficiency of all efficiency measures. Therefore, the efficiency of IC in state-owned banking companies is considered as part of the reason for the improvement of its performance in terms of ROA although not all efficiencies of IC must be done by banking companies, especially from CEE. It should be supported by financial and physical capital. Journal: Int. Secondary data were collected from the constituent companies of the S%P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) CPSE index from 2009 to 2018. VAIC<SMALL>TM</SMALL> methodology developed by Professor Pulic has been employed for measuring the intellectual capital efficiency of the CPSEs. The results revealed that intellectual capital shows a weak relationship with profitability (ROA) and market valuation (MB), but it acts as a strong predictor of productivity (ATO). Also, the result shows that human capital is the most significant element among all the three components of intellectual capital, in enhancing the financial performance of the CPSEs. Journal: Int. We empirically explore how intellectual capital affects firm performance in Vietnam. The data was collected through annual enterprise surveys by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam on a sample of 13,900 Vietnamese firms during 2012-2016. Adopting Pulic's (1998) value-added intellectual coefficient model as later refined, we model a path between intellectual capital and firm performance. Results show that intellectual capital correlated positively with firm performance during the period. Further, human capital correlates positively only with business performance, material capital, and financial capital in the short-term. Among components of intellectual capital efficiency, structural capital efficiency has the greatest positive correlation with short and long-term firm performance. Although there are some limitations to measure intellectual capital quantitatively, this research provides further insight into the effect of intellectual capital on firm performance within a developing country. This study modifies the Mitchel's job performance motivation model by including new variables that had been ignored by previous studies. 300 questionnaires had been collected, and the study employed partial least squares (PLS) for primary data analysis to test the model. The study limits itself in the scope of making out most of the managers' TMP within the perimeter of manufacturing SMEs in Malaysia. This was due to the fact that the specific needs of manufacturing are different than other sectors such as mining, quarrying, construction, services and primary agriculture. This study contributes significantly to the effect of moderating role of TMP that could influence Malaysia's manufacturing SMEs managers' job performance. Journal: Int. This study aims to assess the relevance of indicators to the employment of graduates. It specifically delves into the analysis of the relevance of demonstrating the inculcated values, applying the developed skills and abilities, and manifesting the acquired learning outcomes to employment, as well as proposing improvements or enhancement to the business administration (BA) program. There were 182 respondent-graduates in this study. It applied the concurrent research paradigm for the mixed approach. The gathered data were analysed using descriptive statistics, and Pearson correlation and multiple regressions for hypothesis-testing. The study found the relevance indicators such as the demonstration of the inculcated values, application of the developed skills and abilities, and the manifestation of the acquired learning outcomes to be significantly related to employment. Proposed enhancements for the BA program were recommended which are curriculum-related, on practicum classes, and on teaching strategies. Journal: Int. As there is high complexity, debate and ambiguity regarding these concepts, it becomes necessary to create an integrated framework to capture the interrelationships that exist. Going through an extensive literature review, the various approaches to learning are critically evaluated and a new integrated framework is created that incorporates the various levels of learning. The proposed framework exhibits the most important dimensions of individual learning, such as social intelligence, task intelligence and mental intelligence as well as the learning style preference. These dimensions determine ILC which consequently influences OL. The proposed framework would serve as the basis for creating a more valid model to evaluate the level of OL. Journal: Int. Two hundred one bank employees was selected using multistage cluster sampling and data were analysed with the structural equation modelling. Validity of the scales was assessed using content and construct validity and their reliability were measured by Cronbach's alpha. Data analysis showed a positive relationship between boundaryless career attitude (values-driven attitude and self-directed career management) and internal and external self-perceived employability and learning goal orientation. Moreover, there is a positive relationship between learning goal orientation and internal and external employability. Learning goal orientation plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between boundaryless career attitude and internal and external employability. Journal: Int. Evidence from India employing quantile regression model Abstract: This paper investigates the association between intellectual capital (IC) and firm performance by employing quantile regression model to derive robust and complete association that the classical mean regression fails to extricate. Secondary data on 253 listed Indian firms are collected from 'Capitaline Plus' corporate database for a period of 16 years from 1999-2000 to 2014-2015. IC and its components are computed using Pulic's value added intellectual coefficient (VAIC) model and firm performance is measured by return on asset (ROA). Both pooled OLS and quantile regression models are used to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that the pooled ordinary least square regression provides an incomplete picture about IC efficiency of firms. The results of quantile regression indicate that the positive influence of intellectual capital is higher at upper quantiles. The results also reveal that intellectual capital is a vital factor that creates a significant difference between out-performing and non-performing firms. Journal: Int.
