To assess the first element - the perception intelligence, a technique was developed using a questionnaire and a mathematical apparatus for processing the data obtained. The estimation of the perception intelligence on a small sample of university students is performed. The results of the assessment can be used to develop intelligence, improve communication and learning effectiveness. It is shown that there is a direct relationship between the level of perception intelligence and success in learning. Journal: Int. Two distinct measures, return on average assets (ROAA) and return on average equity (ROAE) are used to measure the financial performance. The paper also controls for number of employees and bank size. Results based on the regression analysis suggest that IC efficiency proxied by the value added intellectual coefficient (VAIC) relates positively with financial performance of Islamic banks in the UK. The analysis further suggests that bank size and number of employees equally contribute in banks' achieving higher financial performance. Additionally, the paper further ghettoises sub-components of IC namely; capital employed, human capital and structural capital to analyse the discrete impact of these IC constituents on financial performance. The analysis of the sub components suggests a positive relationship between physical and financial capital employed efficiency, human capital efficiency and performance. Journal: Int. Abstract: This study examined the relationship between voluntary disclosures (VD) and intellectual capital (IC) efficiency. The independent variables constitute 12 VD self-constructed indices with total 55 disclosure items. HCE, SCE and CEE form the components of the dependent variable which is IC efficiency. Four control variables used for measuring the relationship between VD and IC. A pooled data of 150 observations from Bahrain listed firms for the period 2011-2015 was examined, a multiple regression model was incorporated under random-effect method. The analysis indicates that disclosure index of corporate information is the highest 89.3% whereas the annual report disclosure index ranked Bahraini firms the lowest disclosure with 57.1%. The findings revealed VD positively affect the components of IC. VD indices found to be higher with firm's big assets/older age. General corporate information/financial indexes found higher in younger firms. It was found more VD the higher IC Efficiency since VDI found to be significant in all models. Journal: Int. It is essential to understand how they create value through the PhD education of their professors. The methodology used for this research is qualitative reflexive. The document analysis was the strategy used to identify, in higher education institutions (HEIs), the current models of knowledge management and organisational learning. The theoretical-methodological starting point was the model proposed by Burrell and Morgan (1979). The authors have built a four-dimensional model that will enable researchers and deans of business schools to assess and discuss what are the knowledge management and organisational learning practices that fit into their knowledge management strategy (KMS), their value generation expectations and their long-term goals. Data on the top 200 companies listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2015 are used to estimate the value added intellectual coefficient (VAIC™) model. The ordinary least squares results indicate that firms with and without government ownership differ in firm performance and IC. Capital employed efficiency (CEE), human capital efficiency (HCE), and total IC have significantly positive impacts on firm performance. However, the significantly positive impacts of CEE and HCE on firm performance are only found in firms without government ownership. The significantly negative effect of government presence is confirmed in the pooled data analysis, whereby only CEE is significantly related to firm performance for firms with government ownership. In addition, the categories of IC information (i.e., external, internal and human capital) in relation to specific industry sectors are considered. Questionnaire survey forms were distributed to 126 respondents who comprised preparers and users of initial public offering (IPO) prospectuses. Both parties considered IC information as useful for decision-making and external capital was considered the most important category of disclosure. Preparers were willing to supply IC information in the prospectus and users indicated that they intended to use it for decision-making. However, there was a major mismatch in the supply and demand of IC information by category in IPO issues in some industry sectors suggesting the existence of an information asymmetry gap between preparers and users. With applying Glaserian approach of Grounded Theory, semi-structured interviews were conducted concerning elites' attitudes, orientations, and behaviours towards protean and boundary-crossing working activities and the infrastructures of their organisational operationalisation. Qualitative analysis unfolds an interactive family of theoretical coding around job transition as a basic social structural process (BSSP). The findings determines how physical movements act as a medium elites employ to prepare a context for their protean movements aligning with psychological ones which constitute nesting paths evolving around role transitions due to job improvements. These inferred employability movements posits as elites' proactive adaptability behaviours for securing employability by acquiring movement capital through life-designing trajectories activities. Finally, operational solutions are proposed to cultivate talent phenomena by facilitating elites' employability behaviours across the organisation. Journal: Int. Questionnaire was used to collect data from 210 SMEs owners. The conceptual model and relationships among independent and dependent variables were tested by partial least squares-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM), using SmartPLS3. The study found no significant relationship between the IC components (human capital, structural capital and relational capital) and performance of the SMEs. However, a significant relationship was observed when the variables were jointly considered. The study provides SMEs owners the awareness on the need to manage their IC effectively and efficiently in order to maximise long-term profitability and competitiveness, and also offers insightful implications to academics and practitioners on the importance of IC components on Nigerian SMEs performance. The paper adopts ordinary least square and quantile regression techniques to test the objectives of study. The empirical evidence reports a variation in the results between the estimation of both econometrics techniques. In brief, our reported findings indicate that as the board increases its monitoring activities, the ICE of the firms is not affected. Also, the influence of the intense monitoring on market valuation is more apparent and obvious in small and medium corporations. The study is based on grounded theory and theoretical sampling, 17 interviews were done with the farmers and experts of the Department of Education of Agriculture Jihad Organization until reaching theoretical saturation. Analyses carried out through continuous comparison showed 300 codes, 42 concepts and 6 categories in actual and theoretical coding process, which led to emergence of a final model focused on the core category, called organisational memory recovery. In conclusion, this study presents effective variables on unlearning about agricultural activities, particularly replacement of traditional irrigation methods with modern methods for optimal utilisation of water resources in the form of a model with an emergent approach. This study develops the first native model of organisational unlearning. Journal: Int.
