Data were collected using semi-structured interviews from 56 students and were analysed using a qualitative approach. The findings suggest four critical 'yes moments' that lead to a sense of achievement: 1) being trusted; 2) the ability to accomplish a task; 3) being given a compliment; 4) the ability to solve a problem. The significance of the study lies in its contribution to the existing body of knowledge in tourism and hospitality education in terms of understanding students learning behaviour. Also, the study is substantial for its insightful contributions to potentially improve the employability of students and in the long run, meet the supply and demand of labour in the hotel industry. The interpretations of the findings, implications, and directions for future are discussed. Journal: Int. This study examined the impacts of service quality of ETS towards tourist satisfaction and loyalty. Data were generated through a self-administered survey. A total of 360 responses from tourists who travelled to and from Kuala Lumpur Sentral and Padang Besar, Malaysia were collected and were subjected to technical analysis of partial least square-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). This study demonstrated the significant impact of service quality towards tourist satisfaction and loyalty toward ETS. Finally, valuable recommendations are presented. Journal: Int. At least one-third of the spending of tourist visitors to a destination is used to purchase local food and related food activities. This paper derives current trends in food tourism by identifying food tourism approaches and establishing a theoretical framework for food tourism management by considering both tourists' and stakeholders' perspectives, which could provide a more holistic approach. In addition, the work focuses on tourists' behavioural outcomes, i.e., intentions to purchase/consume, recommend and revisit, depending on whether it is a local food product or a gastronomic industry/destination. The interrelationships of the main factors such as motivations, knowledge, culture, history, authenticity, experiences, values, beliefs, emotions, desires, perceptions, satisfaction and involvement are considered. Implications and future research contributions are also discussed. Journal: Int. The expenditure of tourists stimulates the socio-economic development of local communities. Most countries target business travellers and tourists who do not mind spending while travelling. Backpackers were previously underestimated because they travel on an extremely tight budget. This research is based on secondary reviews in the tourism industry. Owing to digitalisation through social media, many backpackers have become travel vloggers who indirectly became influencers in the tourism industry. The popularity of travel vloggers has led to their appointment as tourism ambassadors who promote travel destinations. A leap in momentum in the Malaysian tourism industry is expected within the next few years with the assistance of travel vloggers. Journal: Int.
