In India, lockdown conditions are still in force, and educational institutions are closed until further notice. Teachers are conducting online sessions from their homes, so it is important to identify the barriers encountered by teachers in online teaching. The purpose of this paper is to identify and prioritise the barriers faced by teachers in online teaching during COVID-19 pandemic in the HEIs of India. AHP approach is employed to prioritise the barriers encountered by teachers in online teaching during COVID-19 pandemic. The data was collected from 27 teachers working in various universities of Uttarakhand, India. These findings indicate that 'lack of institutional support' is the main barrier followed by home environment settings, technical issues, teachers' readiness, and students' readiness in online teaching during COVID-19 pandemic in India. This research will focus on the youth of the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East. The word 'youth' indicates that this research will be focused solely on the demographic of 13-30 years of age. The reason for choosing these two specific geographical locations is due to the circumstance that both of these areas faced the outbreak of the virus around the same time and imposed strict lockdown rules within the same week. While the reason for choosing this specific age group is due to the fact that we have the maximum number of reaches pertaining to this age group. This paper focuses on the prevalent issues of mental health in the millennial generation and how uncertainties of the future elevate and enhance such issues. The effects of this coronavirus will be evaluated with regards to three main factors, i.e., effects of being in quarantine, impact of social media and influence of economic factors on the mind. A longitudinal study based on learning trajectories was conducted from 2015-2018. We present the results for three WISEs in which 14 integration workers were observed in real work situations over a total of 31 working days. Additionally, we conducted 78 semi-structured interviews of integration workers and their pedagogical referents. We analyse what WISEs teach to facilitate workers' social inclusion and what the integration workers learn in the workplace before moving to the ordinary labour market. We conclude that deliberative knowledge plays a larger role regarding socio-labour and personal learning when WISEs prioritise their pedagogical accompaniment. However, technical learning appears linked to tacit and reactive knowledge related to work performance. The results are evident in WISEs where the personal itinerary is defined from the beginning. Most of the time we read online news that may primarily appear authentic, but we cannot assure it because it does not happen every time. According to Gartner's published report, by 2022, most mature economies will get fake information than the correct information, mainly through social media. Fake news is one of the prevalent threats in our digitally linked world. This paper proposes a model for recognising fake news through the dataset from the Kaggle. There was 3,000 news collected from various social media sources in the dataset, of which 2,725 news is a training dataset and 275 for the test dataset. The fake and real news is classified and compared using five machine learning classification algorithms and analysed accordingly. The five classification algorithms are support vector machine (SVM), naïve Bayes, logistic regression, random forest, and neural networks. Journal: Int. The study assessed how informal businesses overcome barriers to product innovation by econometric analysis of 996 informal enterprises in a township in KwaZulu-Natal Province in South Africa. Analysis showed a significant positive relationship between technological challenges and product innovation, but a significant negative relationship between social challenges and product innovation. Also, there was a significant positive relationship between percentage of family members in the business and product innovation, but a significant negative relationship between educational qualifications and product innovation. The study concludes that, based on their high level of flexibility due to their smallness, proximity to another and to their customers, these informal sector businesses found suitable alternatives to their technology related barriers. Effective knowledge sharing develops cooperation among employees which enhances firm performance and creativity. Leaders are the main players which transform their followers and develop sharing habits among them. Knowledge is required by co-workers to accomplish a particular task. Like positive, dark leadership phenomenon also exists in the organisations and affects the knowledge sharing process by forecasting knowledge hiding behaviour. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out the effect of toxic leadership on knowledge hiding behaviour. Moreover, this study investigates the underlying mechanism that how leader toxicity affects employee organisational identification and self-esteem which urges them to involve in knowledge hiding behaviour. Based on the leader-member exchange theory, current research suggests that knowledge hiding behaviour is the outcome of leader toxicity. A survey of 158 employees from the education sector has empirically validated the hypotheses. SEM was used to analyse structural paths using Smart PLS 3.0. The result shows that toxic leadership has a direct effect on knowledge hiding behaviour whereas dual mediation unveils the underlying mechanism. Current research has enriched the literature on toxic leadership and provided important managerial implications to practitioners. Journal: Int. In HEIs, e-learning has emerged as a prominent mode of obtaining education during the COVID-19 emergency. Data was collected through an online Google Form from 1,111 teachers (1,060 considered usable) of different HEIs in northern India using the purposive sampling technique. The statistical analysis includes descriptive and inferential statistics, factor analysis, ANOVA, correlation, and regression analysis. Results revealed that barriers to students' sustainable online education engagement are divided into two clusters: behavioural and technological. These barriers differ significantly based on gender and discipline of the study of the respondent - teachers. Behavioural barriers have a higher impact than technological barriers. Results show that both barriers, i.e., behavioural and technological barriers, are significantly correlated with the students' sustainable engagement in online education. Journal: Int. Effective communication is not always free of impediments. There are a variety of variables related to the tutor, learners and educational environment that act as obstacles to and reduce the effectiveness of class communication. The aim of the present study is to identify the key barriers that affect classroom communication. The barriers that influence classroom communication have been analysed by the 'interpretive structural modelling' (ISM) methodology. MICMAC analysis analyses the driving and dependence power of barriers. The outcome reveals that 'unfitting knowledge and abilities, feedback and technology' are at the top level barriers. A comprehensive model of the relationship between these barriers has been established in this research so that classroom communication can be improved. Journal: Int. However, the content generated through ESN must undergo a lifting such as the quality control of the products or services developed in the organisation for its customers. This quality control of the exchanges between ESN users must focus on the quality of the shared knowledge for knowledge capitalisation purposes. To do this, we have proposed on the basis of an empirical study to incorporate within ESN a knowledge manager to certify the knowledge before sharing. This new ESN architecture has been validated by the success measurement model of knowledge management systems. Journal: Int. To address this challenge, the use of distance education in many institutions is implemented by adopting online learning platforms. The administrators of these platforms are scared off by the high number of at-risk learners. Early prediction of these learners can allow instructors to encourage them to complete their classes. Several works have explored data mining techniques to detect learners' failures. Our study is different from the existing ones in different ways: 1) it is a new approach based on the dynamic profiles of the learners; 2) it seeks to determine whether the use of a more accurate classification can be useful or not; 3) it provides a systematic comparison with other methods and works. The effectiveness of our prediction technique is assessed through the use of real data gathered from computer science courses. Journal: Int. Using partial least squares, we found that preference for personalisation negatively impacts online student grades (n = 63), while preference for codification negatively impacts face-to-face student grades (n = 73). The interaction between preference for personalisation and internet self-efficacy positively affects online student grades, while that between preference for codification and internet self-efficacy negatively impacts online student grades. The interaction between preference for personalisation and computer self-efficacy positively affects face-to-face student grades. These findings suggest that students preferring personalisation may perform better in a face-to-face course and students preferring codification may perform better in an online course. However, internet self-efficacy appears to help students preferring personalisation perform better in an online course. Computer self-efficacy seems to help students preferring personalisation perform better in a face-to-face course. Journal: Int. MOOCs have been successfully adopted in developed countries but it is relatively low among the teachers in developing countries. This research aims to identifying the barriers and motivating factors affecting MOOCs adoption among teachers of higher education institutions (HEIs) in India. This research has employed an interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) approach to identify barriers and motivating factors of MOOCs adoption. The primary data has been collected by conducting an in-depth interview among teachers of HEIs in India. This study reveals four factors (lack of awareness, financial constraint, technological barriers and time constraints) that act as barriers and five motivating factors (professional growth, personal development, attributes of MOOCs, social influence and self-efficacy) that influence teachers to adopt MOOCs. The innovative pedagogical interventions analyse children's physical and psychological wellbeing and influence their actions to highlight the effect of the classroom environment from the obfuscation of other teaching-learning practices. The present scenario impels educators to reinvent the role of classrooms as a learning environment. This research is based on the assessment of a child's creative thinking abilities using focus group discussions of 144 primary school students of the Rajshahi district of Bangladesh. The study reveals significant changes in the behaviour and attitude of the teacher's ability to engage with the students and the student's attitude towards learning. Moreover, the children showed increased participation when they were encouraged to learn within the classroom and by using quick iterations along with an agile approach of design thinking, the classrooms evolved to provide a better environment for young learners.
