Measuring the outcomes of education and the progress of learning has an essential role in generating personalised feedbacks and recommendations in personalised learning. The data obtained by traditional assessment tools like written and oral examinations, mass assignments do not reflect the real state of the student's knowledge and progress of learning. Learning activities outside the classroom are not observable adding to the imprecision of recommendations. This paper share one of our assessment practice called 'open assessment method' developed and practiced during 2012-2015 along with the design of a decision support system. It is built around a 'class activity sheet' with Google technologies, enhances the observability of the learning environment. This technological adaption leads to improvement in student's participation, generating data useful for composing recommendations on a personal basis with teacher's interventions. Journal: Int. Recently, the field of electronic assessment has grabbed the attention of many researchers. Electronic assessment is a real challenge taking to consideration the diversity of question types. E-assessment of answers to open questions has created new challenges regarding extracting students' answers using natural language processing techniques and infer new knowledge using description logic reasoning. To be able to automate the process of assessing the students' answers, they have to be annotated with semantics. This paper presents a thorough survey of significant research efforts that adopt semantic annotation to enhance the process of e-assessment. Moreover, in this paper, we propose a semantic-based framework that automates the process of electronically assessing the answers of questions on e-learning systems based on their semantic descriptions. This huge amount of data is mainly inconsistent and non-structured format, so hard to process through computing machines available. With the advent of computers and the information age, statistical and analytical problems have also grown both in the size and complexity. Text classification using various machine learning mechanisms encounters the difficulty of the high dimensionality of attributes vector. Therefore, a feature selection technique is very much required to discard irrelevant as well as noisy attributes from the feature set vector so that the ML algorithms can work efficiently. In this paper, a hybrid method is proposed for text documents classification. Further, proposed method's performance is evaluated on standard datasets, i.e., Reuters-21578 and 20 newsgroups. We opted 'bydate' version of the dataset containing 18,941 documents. Through our experiments, we attempted to explore the various performance measures. Journal: Int. We have tested the Ajzen's theory of planned behaviour (TPB) framework for testing entrepreneurial intention (EI) in Indian setting. The data has been collected by administering entrepreneurial intention questionnaire (EIQ) among the students of Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India who are aspiring to take up self-employment as their career option. The paper employs a linear regression model to examine the determinants of entrepreneurial intention (EI) based on the theory of planned behaviour (TPB). Results obtained partially support the theory of planned behaviour. The construct social norms (SN) found to be insignificant in predicting entrepreneurial intention (EI). Moreover, perceived behavioural control (PBC) or self-efficacy explains highest variance than other variables which indicates that entrepreneurial behaviour is not under volitional control; hence, India has a less munificent environment for entrepreneurs than other nations. This is one of the few studies to provide evidence for entrepreneurial intention models (EIM) in India based on the TPB framework. In addition, it checks the robustness of the TPB in explaining EI in India and confirm the some of the previous findings. Journal: Int. Consequently, this study suggested a model of the effects of KMM dimensions: people, process, and technology on managerial flexibility dimensions: structural flexibility, and strategic flexibility. The responses of 168 employees working in mobile communications companies in Jordan engaged in managerial and specialised knowledge work were analysed to test the proposed research hypotheses. The results revealed that only people maturity, and process maturity have significant effects on the structural flexibility; whereas all the independent variables: people maturity, process maturity, and technology maturity have significant effects on the strategic flexibility. In the light of the results reached some practical implications for the explored organisations and proposed future studies have been recommended. Journal: Int. We employed the dynamic fractal organisation (DFO) model as an appropriate management model to propose the existence and development of dynamic teams aiming to enhance their knowledge-creating ability for sustainable innovation. The proposed framework highlights the significance of knowledge culture in promoting knowledge vision, trust between members, commitment and willingness for knowledge creation, teamwork orientation, and an ongoing contribution of distributed phronesis-based leadership that facilitates dynamic knowledge creation. A qualitative case study approach was employed based on empirical data from 24 in-depth interviews, triangulated with document analysis. Findings confirmed the existence of the dynamic knowledge-creating mechanism adopted by GenITeams that encourages teams to interact in a multi-layered networked setting. Results revealed that GenITeams could develop a management model that fosters innovation through continuous upward knowledge creation spiral. Journal: Int.
