These switches require efficient schedulers to reach its maximum potential. In this paper, a high performance scheduler is proposed for buffered crossbar switches to work under multicast traffic. The scheduler is able to reduce the starvation effect and thereby achieves maximum throughput with minimum delay than existing algorithms. Journal: Int. This study investigates how dynamic social alignment on an operational level improves organisational performance. The concept of dynamic social alignment has been introduced based on the theory of dynamic capabilities and the integration of two constructs: IS change agreement and task support satisfaction (TSS). The business value of dynamic social alignment was measured through business process performance and organisational performance. A conceptual model was thus developed and empirically validated through structural equation modelling (SEM). It is confirmed in this study that organisations which have better dynamic social alignment on the operational level continuously support the execution of changing everyday business tasks. The results also confirmed the mediating role of business process performance between task support satisfaction (TSS) and organisational performance. The study reveals that business and IT professionals need to nurture and maintain dynamic mutual agreement regarding IS changes in order to improve performance. In this manner, their organisation would be more prepared for reconfiguration and transformation, vital for adjustment to rapidly changing environment. Journal: Int. Only if individuals recognise the ethical problems in a situation can they make ethical judgements and perform ethical behaviours. Ethical sensitivity is affected by many factors. Therefore, to promote the ethical behaviour of employees, it is necessary to explore the key factors of employees' ethical sensitivity. Based on a framework of self-determination theory, this study analyses the effects of goal contents on ethical sensitivity and the mediating role of basic psychological needs. A total of 149 employees were surveyed and the results demonstrate the following: 1) intrinsic goals are positively related to ethical sensitivity; 2) the intrinsic goals and basic psychological needs are significantly positively related; 3) basic psychological needs fully mediate the relationship between intrinsic goals and ethical sensitivity. Finally, the practical contributions of the research and suggestions for future studies are discussed. Journal: Int. Through the University Career and Competency Assessment Network (UCAN) system, we used Deming's 'plan-do-check-action' (PDCA) methodology to investigate the relationship between learning outcome, competency assessment, and curriculum improvement. Our study showed that after the internship, students' professional and common competencies were improved and interns were satisfied with the program. In professional competency, students get opportunities for direct learning and experience of product, price, promotion, and place. Among the eight common competencies, the highest score represents the 'responsibility and discipline'. The satisfaction surveys showed that it is very important to offer a rich and sufficient curriculum design. Also, it was found that 'communication expression' and 'job responsibility and discipline' are best achieved by real-world training. This research fulfils objectives of the PDCA cycle and fits teaching and learning quality improvement. Journal: Int. This study examines the role of rapport and the impact of task complexity to influence cohesion within offshore ISD project teams and their implications for project performance and work satisfaction from a social capital and interdependence perspective. Five hundred surveys were sent to randomly selected IS team members in India from IS outsourcing vendors located in India. A total of 194 responses were used in the PLS analysis. The empirical results show that task complexity and rapport had a positive and significant effect on task cohesion while task cohesion had a positive and significant effect on project performance and work satisfaction. This study demonstrates that the interdependence between task complexity and rapport among team members that can lead to shared understanding of the problems and approaches the team adopts, which eventually leads to successful outcomes. The purposefulness of this study is to investigate the relationship between eWOM and purchase intention in Chinese social media context. The article also differentiates the risk-taking attitude between genders. Numerous studies have strived to elaborate eWOM phenomenon but little effort has done to explore its determinants. The results confirmed that argument quality, source credibility, and involvement are key determinants of eWOM in social media that positively influence customers purchase intentions. Furthermore, risk-taking propensity sounds more strongly in males than females, and it significantly and positively moderates the relationship of eWOM with purchase intentions. Findings of this study have important practical implications for marketing practitioners in Chinese social media environment. Marketers should devise the comprehensive distinct marketing plan for customers to get them involved in spreading eWOM that would enhance their purchase intentions. Journal: Int. Many firms begin to utilise digital resources to formulate and execute digital business strategy. However, there is little empirical research focusing on explaining this novel phenomenon. In this paper, we proposed a framework which describes the value creation and appropriation process of digital business strategy in the digital settings. Our research model is tested by survey data and financial data from a sample of 138 manufacturing firms which adopted e-selling process. The result provides strong supports to the proposed research model. In particular, we find that, as hypothesised, the impact of digital business strategy on firm performance is completely mediated by e-collaboration capability which is one kind of digital capabilities. Theoretical and practical implications of the research are discussed. Journal: Int. BPMN4VC has been recommended to address collaborative process flexibility issue, which is an important problem that business process management (BPM) systems must face before their definitive acceptance and use in companies. BPMN4VC meta-model supports static and dynamic aspects of collaboration versioning. Dynamic aspects of collaboration versioning include low-level operations supporting versioning management, a life cycle indicating when these operations can be performed and adaptation patterns making the update of collaboration schema easier to perform. This paper revisits the dynamic aspects of BPMNVC and in particular the adaptation patterns, detailing their implementation and use with BPMN4VC-modeller which is an implementation of BPMN4VC on top of the well-known BPMN modeller Eclipse plug-in. Finally, the paper reports on an evaluation of the adaptation patterns and of BPMN4VC-modeller to prove the feasibility of the contribution. Journal: Int. The presented approach attempts to identify and select groups of interdependent predicates which altogether may affect the program failure. To find these groups, we suggest the use of a supervised algorithm that is based on penalised logistic regression analysis. To provide the failure context, faulty sub-paths are recognised as sequences of fault relevant predicates. Estimating the grouping effect of program predicates on the failure helps programmers in the multiple-bug setting. Several case studies have been designed to evaluate the proposed approach on well-known test suites. The evaluations show that our method produces more precise results compared with prior fault localisation techniques. Journal: Int. Due to unsuitable way of management and the consideration of data security, there is the possibility of researchable sample data missing, or the possibility of not enough data. This way many classical prediction models cannot function well in practice. The study compared numerous models. According to the characteristics of poor sample data and numerous factors for construction engineering, the grey model and BP neural network were selected to establish the prediction model. This study built material and machinery shift as independent variables, the construction cost as the dependent variable to establish the grey neural network model. In empirical analysis, data processing, training and simulation were used by MATLAB, the results concluded: compared with other conventional models, the combined forecasting model for poor data is more effective. It also explored customer's privacy concern as moderator of the relationship between these determinants and supervisor intention to accept. Data collected from 323 pharmaceutical sales supervisors of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in Pakistan revealed that both proposed determinants positively influenced supervisors' intention to accept face ID-based sales force automation (SFA) system. Furthermore, the moderating role of customers' privacy concern was found non-significant. This is the first face ID-based SFA acceptance study that extends technology acceptance model (TAM) variables into the sales profession context and the first system that will give exact information about the authenticity of sales force job activities. This study explores the associations of FFM on sales performance (SSP) by adopting information technology (ITV) and gender (GDR) as the moderators. Data were collected from major cities of Laos and analysed by structure equation moulding and Fisher's statistical approach. The results affirmed the positive linkages of FFM, i.e., extraversion (FMETC), agreeableness (FMATC), conscientiousness (FMCTC), openness to experience (FMOTC), and emotional stability (FMSTC) toward SSP. It is further explored that ITVs' integration strengthens the relationships, while GDR did not moderate the relationship of FFM and SSP. Moreover, this study provides insights to management on how sales might be optimised considering such traits, ITV, and GDR factors. Future directions are reported for researchers. Journal: Int. Most scholars focus on the impact of ESM usage on employee's work performance; however, researchers are unclear about the advantages of ESM usage on work performance through task structure. This research offers and tests a new comprehensive model that links the ESM usage with task interdependence. Data were gathered from 170 representatives who utilised ESM applications for daily work routines in the workplace. The moderating role of work cooperation and IT competency were also examined. The present study validates most of the proposed hypotheses and moderating effects. Findings show that work cooperation shows significant moderating effect. However, the moderating effect of IT competency shows insignificant effect. This research study also contributes to the existing literature by suggesting managers the benefits of ESM usage and illuminating its consequences on employee work performance. Journal: Int.
