Reducing the consumption of SUP bags is one of the foremost agendas to achieve sustainable development goals (SDG). This study, by employing S-O-R framework, aims to test the relationships among intrinsic motivation, attitude towards bring your own bag (BYOB), and intention to reduce SUP bags. This study also tests the mediating effect of attitude between intrinsic motivation and intention. Further, this study aims to investigate the moderating roles of time pressure and lack of convenience in predicting intention to reduce SUP bags. To fulfil the objectives, data was collected in India with a sample of 909. The findings of this study reveal that attitude partially mediates the relationship between intrinsic motivation and intention. Time pressure and lack of convenience negatively moderate the mediating impact of attitude between motivation and intention. This study provides important implications to the government and policy makers. Journal: Int. To take into account the level of well-being together with the inequality in well being, a social welfare function is much needed, while formulating or evaluating social and economic policies. In this paper we have constructed a model of social welfare and established its link with environmentally adjusted net domestic product and Hamiltonian function. We have also constructed some indices of well-being and assessed the extent of convergence across some selected countries with respect to the constructed indices. To analyse the progress made by these countries in achieving the SDGs we have computed the distance to targets. The results indicate that uniformity has been achieved in well-being levels as countries with lower well-being have caught up with relatively advanced countries. Further, we fail to find a single goal for which the target proposed by agenda 30 has been achieved. Journal: Int. The authors have constructed a research model to examine tourists' revisit intention through six constructs. Hypotheses were examined using structural equation modelling on a cohort of 276 eligible participants. The results confirm that revisit intention is affected by tourist satisfaction and trust. Both tourists' satisfaction and green trust are influenced by green factors such as green image, perceived value, and ecotourism experience. The statistical analysis does not support a significant association between green trust and the ecotourism experience. The study provides theoretical and practical implications for stakeholders aiming to enhance revisit intention towards ecotourism destinations in Vietnam. Journal: Int. This poses a challenge for policymaking if consumption emissions increase while production emissions decrease and, if emissions are effectively migrating to areas without carbon reduction targets or capabilities through carbon leakage. In order to look at these questions, this article accesses the drivers in the production and consumption emission accounts available for 101 countries, for the period between 1990 and 2017. Our results show that an increase in GDP per capita, trade balance, energy intensity, service sector share and urbanisation will increase production-based emissions more than consumption-based emissions. Conversely, an increase on imports of goods and services and a decrease of exports will increase consumption-based emissions more than production-based emissions. However, it is in urban centres, in developed countries, that there is a higher consumption, relatively to production, so it means that there is also a higher carbon import, otherwise production-based emissions would be higher. Therefore, in these regions there is evidence of carbon leakage. Journal: Int. In order to solve this problem, this study selects urban-rural border settlements and uses the sustainable development goals (SDGs) as a basis to conduct cultural landscape, urban-rural disturbance, and cultural education. Through the university's social responsibility program, problem/project-based learning and local needs were developed into practical courses; this addresses urban-rural disparities by engaging faculty and students in the community, identifying problems, solving them, preserving heritage and cultural assets, and assisting in community development. The results found that: 1) systematically preserve tangible and intangible local cultural relics and histories in a digital way and in a timeline; 2) discover and preserve local popular music; 3) compile an audio-visual introduction manual of cultural relics for a wide circulation; 4) promote local linkages, community care, talent cultivation and cultural revitalisation among the university, the government and civic organisations in the region. The objectives of SDGs-11.4, 11.6, 11.7 and 11.a were effectively achieved. Journal: Int. BRSR framework is based on the principles of environmental performance, corporate social responsibility, and transparent governance. The current research examines the investor reaction to the announcement of the compulsory filing of BRSR to disclose ESG practices in the Indian context. The present study is based on the top 1,000 market value firms and their daily stock return data from 1st April 2020 to 12th May 2021. Based on the analysis of daily average abnormal returns as well as cumulative average abnormal returns for different event windows, the study finds that stock market participants have responded positively and significantly to the BRSR announcement. Further, the role of carbon sensitivity has been assessed by performing separate industry-wise analyses and the findings indicate that firms operating in carbon-sensitive (non-sensitive) industries have low (high) positive reactions from equity investors. Present research delivers a significant contribution to the growing domain of sustainability research and portrays critical implications for academicians, managers, and policymakers. Journal: Int. They support the expansion of business and the economy as a whole. Profit generation is at the expense of society. Though the investor's primary motive is to maximise the return on their investment while balancing the risks involved, what does the company do in return to the community? Resulting in innovative investment strategies, investment in productive green projects has become a necessity of the day. Consciousness about socially responsible investment (SRI) and environment social governance (ESG) factors in running companies has been rising steadily in recent years. This research looks at how corporations and investors make investment decisions based on a systematic evaluation of the literature. HistCiteTM software evaluates whether SRI avenues and ESG disclosure variables influence investment decision-making. This paper evidences the findings and makes suggestions for handling future trends in SRI and SRI practices from SRI literature development. Journal: Int. In India, nearly 100 million tons of construction waste is generated annually, and the consumption of natural resources is almost 28%. The circular economy (CE) model has gained attention with the growing population and increasing demand. This article highlights the recent developments in a CE model in the CI through a systematic literature review (SLR) that includes 95 papers divided into four aspects: CE in the CI, CE and construction and demolition waste management, circular building design tool, and CE in the CI through building materials. The article further highlights the status of CE initiatives in the CI in India. Finally, a gap analysis of each aspect covered in the global literature with CE initiatives in the CI in India is conducted. Journal: Int. This situation necessitates understanding the relationships between green innovation, green transformational leadership, and organisational performance to enhance companies' performance. This study aims to uncover these relationships and shed light on how companies can take steps in these areas. The primary purpose of this study is to examine the mediating role of green transformational leadership in the impact of companies' green product capabilities and green process capabilities on organisational performance. The second aim is to examine the mediating relationship of green product performance in the relationship between green process innovation and organisational performance. There is more than one mediation relationship in our model. This study was carried out with 332 questionnaires collected from middle/top managers of technology companies operating in Turkey. In the study, variance-based partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was applied using Smart PLS 4 software. Journal: Int. Using panel vector autoregression models, it finds an inverse relationship between GDP and CO<SMALL>2</SMALL> emissions in low-growth economies, and a positive correlation in moderate and high-growth economies. Renewable energy positively impacts CO<SMALL>2</SMALL> emissions in moderate and high-growth economies but reduces them in low-growth contexts. The Hausmann test supports using a fixed effect model, and the Granger causality test reveals a unidirectional relationship from GDP and renewable energy to CO<SMALL>2</SMALL> emissions across all growth levels. These discoveries highlight the connection between economic growth and carbon emissions, thus stressing the necessity for nations with advanced economic statuses to implement measures aimed at curbing carbon emissions through the promotion of renewable energy sources. The adverse outcome of single-use plastic waste on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, including in the marine environment, is recognised worldwide. The solution to pollution caused by single-use plastics is an important environmental challenge for all countries. This research aimed to inspect the attitudes of consumers regarding the ban on single-use plastic. Overall, 251 customers were recruited using a simple random sample method from different cities in the Delhi-NCR region from January 2023 to April 2023. The researcher has applied structural equation modelling (SEM) using Smart-PLS software and the findings indicated that each of the constructs had a statistical significance towards the single-use plastic ban except the environmental awareness and law and regulation. Furthermore, the study concluded that single-use plastic goods, regardless of their material, are harmful to the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to develop comprehensive, appropriate, short and long-term approaches that encourage reuse, and discourage single-use behaviour, policymakers must work with academics, NGOs, and the private sector. Now that consumers' consciousness towards sustainable consumption has risen to another level, it is yet to answer whether or not the pandemic has shaped their behaviours for long-term transitions. However, businesses are adopting the concept of mindful marketing to retype consumers' consumption values. Conscious consumption choices made by consumers still require support for future market trends. Henceforth, this study aims to research emerging economies like India to reach young consumers' perspectives on mindful consumption and further check their readiness to adopt the thrifting culture as an alternative to mindful consumption. Existing research is qualitative applied thematic analysis to decode consumers' perspectives. For data collection, the researcher used an in-person survey of 30 respondents from Delhi. Summative thematic analysis resulted in three broader themes. Journal: Int. To achieve this objective, an integrative review has been done for 104 articles using scientific databases like Scopus and Science Direct. These articles were reviewed while dividing them into structural dimensions, which are basically the six set of R's (refuse and replace, rethink and redesign, reduce, reuse, remanufacturing, recycle). The review suggests that the extant literature consists of sustainable studies majorly focused on developed countries, and the ones in textile industry of developing nations were majorly from China. The findings of this study thus, provides an in-depth understanding on sustainability, different approaches of sustainability, categorisation of R-principles, and an understanding on sustainable practices prevalent or can be extended in textile industry for various developing nations. Lastly, this review illuminates few gaps and future research areas. Journal: Int. The results confirm the causal effect of consumption experience on self-perception, self-esteem on willingness to pay, and, subsequently, self-perception on purchase intention towards green products. The findings also established the indirect impact of consumption experience on self-perception through self-esteem and social worth. However, the findings did not support the mediating role of self-diagnostic value. The study contributes to the literature by investigating the effect of consumption experience and its indirect effects through hedonistic values on consumer perception and behaviour towards green products. The consumption experience and its link to self-perception has not been explored thoroughly previously. Journal: Int. To this end, we performed a review following the SPAR-4-SLR protocol. We integrate a bibliometric analysis with in-depth content analysis of the papers in each literature cluster for an in-depth analysis of the research streams identified from the 75 peer-reviewed articles scrutinised. In contrast with the other literature reviews which focus on the associations between FinTech and sustainability, our study specifically addresses the green FinTech topic, focusing on the 'green' pillar of sustainability. Consequently, to the best of our knowledge, this is the first study to shed light on this specific and new field, using accepted methodology on two robust repositories. Journal: Int. Using the smart PLS-SEM analytical technique, the research explores the relationships and impacts of various variables such as health concern and lifestyle, personal attitude, environmental benefit, communication, social influence, price, and organic food knowledge on consumers' purchase intentions (dependent variable) in the Delhi-NCR region. Through data analysis and expert opinion surveys, the study provides valuable insights into regional consumer trends, business opportunities, and regulatory implications specific to organic food products. It also offers recommendations for businesses to optimise supply chain management, refine marketing strategies, and develop innovative products. The research takes into account context-specific factors unique to Delhi-NCR, including cultural, socio-economic, and demographic influences, which significantly shape consumer preferences and attitudes toward organic food items. Additionally, the study's findings can be a valuable resource for programs supporting organic farmers and producers in the Delhi-NCR region, aiding their growth and success in the expanding organic food market.
