Title: An environment-adaptive distributed node joining approach and a secure cluster-based architecture for MANET
Abstract:
The increased popularity of mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) is only due to their unique characteristics. It requires highly efficient mechanisms, in order to cope with the dynamically changing topologies. The environmental changes in turn increase the complexities of algorithms used to maintain the topology. A keen analysis of network scenarios is required to maintain a balanced network in all aspects. A centralised monitoring system can address this issue up to a tolerable level. But, that in turn increases the risk of one point failure as well as the problems due to unavailability. The main goal of this work is to propose a secure, environment-adaptive distributed node joining approach for MANET. It uses a cluster-based network model. This approach reduces the risk factors at the time of node joining as well as it can maintain the network in a balanced manner. The aim of this work is mainly focused on the problems of the MANET due to the dynamically changing topologies.

Title: Profile matching of online users across multiple social networks: a text mining approach
Abstract:
Profile matching of a person using various online social networks is a non-trivial task. Major challenges in developing a reliable and scalable matching scheme include the non-availability of the required information or having contradictory information for the same user across these networks. In this study, we propose a method that utilises the contents generated by or shared with users across their online social networks. With the help of text mining techniques, we extract the high frequency words and common high frequency words in the user's posts/tweets (content attributes). Based on experiments with real datasets, this method provides 72.5% accuracy in identity matching amongst user's profiles. Given the data, we develop classification models, and we achieved accuracy and F1 score of 72.5% and 67.0%, respectively. This study will be helpful to enhance the accuracy of the identity resolution frameworks.

Due to the advancement in internet technologies, the demand for effective intrusion detection system (IDS) is increasing tremendously. The main objective of an IDS is to detect the instant attain in network with high accuracy. This paper mainly deals with IDS in cloud network. The existing system failed to protect the system due to increase in attacks, malwares and unable to track the high false positive and negative traffic rate. In this paper, a new hybrid bio-inspired-based IDS using swarm optimisation algorithm. Using this algorithm, the detection rate is improved and the false alarm rate is decreased.

Twitter usage is outgrowing each day and so is the ever changing trend. The data flow keeps on increasing each day through tweets and thus analysis on the latest trends are done by using most widely used framework for processing large datasets-Apache Hadoop. This paper presents an overview of Twitter Trend analysis using Apache PIG in Hadoop framework and its performance will be tested using lexical analysis. Hadoop is preferred over other frameworks due to its robustness, scalability, cost effectiveness and high speed which makes parallel processing over distributed network easy. The paper also shows results obtained through lexical analysis done on the Hadoop cluster to show the efficiency of the program.

Abstract:
Today's global competitive market and diverse advancements of technologies force any firms to focus on core business processes to launch their product on time to market. Though there is more literature on engineering changes (ECs), the sufficient frame of reference is not sufficiently developed in terms of its classification. Hence, a brief sorting to help researchers and academicians in understanding ECs from broader outlook is necessary. In this research work, the literature on ECs categorised on the basis of: 1) problematic environment; 2) approach and methodology adopted to improve organisation performance. Total 231 published articles were classified and examined for future research opportunities by using the literature gaps. A timeline representing related papers is also provided to understand ECs relation with respect to product development and operations. To strengthen the research findings and future directions, a case study included related to ECs influence on automotive supply chain.

Title: Optimisation of multiple travelling salesman problem using metaheuristic methods
Abstract:
The problem of travelling salesmen (TSP) is a well-known task in the field of combinatorial optimisation. However, the problem of the multiple travelling salesman (mTSP), which extends the former, is a more challenging and complex combinatorial optimisation problem. This problem included addressing real-world issues where more than one salesman needed to be responsible for. This paper covered the use of heuristic approaches to tackle 180 cities and six travelling salesmen to reduce the path distances. To transform an mTSP into a TSP, a K-means clustering algorithm was used. Genetic algorithm (GA) was applied to the cluster after the clustering was done and iterated to provide the best possible value for distance following convergence. Now, with the ant colony optimisation (ACO) algorithm, every cluster was once again solved to determine the optimum distance value as a TSP. Once the two heuristic methods were applied, it became evident that due to the thorough analysis and constructive design of the algorithm, the ant colony optimisation algorithm yielded better results and more efficient tour than the genetic algorithm.

Lean and green systems are associated with waste reduction techniques. In foreign countries, many industries have started implementing these concepts and they are getting good results. In India, companies are facing problems in implementing lean and green concept. This paper investigates the critical success factors for implementation of lean and green concept in Indian medium scale manufacturing industries. The factors are grouped into different levels by interpretive structural modelling (ISM). The analytic network process (ANP) method has been used to determine the extent to which the main principles of lean and green manufacturing have been carried out in the six Indian medium scale manufacturing industries.

Title: A causal model to prioritise the task of work packages in R%D projects
Abstract:
Evaluation of research and development (R%D) project is important for prioritising the tasks that are vital for the success of projects. In this paper, the work breakdown structure (WBS) principle has been applied to convert the R%D projects of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in India into a number of work packages. The DRDO projects are classified into five groups, and under each group, there are some 11 common work packages identified to complete the projects. Each work package consists of metrics and prioritising these metrics is important to concentrate on these important metrics as it is a project success criterion. A causal model has been developed in this paper for this purpose. An instrument has been developed, and the data were collected through a survey from 179 senior scientists of DRDO. Based on the results of the causal model developed, the metrics have been ranked from the work packages based on their respective complexity. The ranking of metrics in each work packages can help the project in-charge of any project in tactical and operational level activities down the line. The methodology adopted in this paper can be extended for the projects of such a similar nature.

Abstract:
A systematic review of the literature on the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) in supply chain management (SCM) has been presented in this study. The benefits of ICT deployment for SCM, the supply chain performance measures and constructs and SCM process reference models developed by supply chain council and global supply chain forum (GSCF) are presented. Several ICT tools that are widely deployed and emerging tools have been discussed. Also, the impacts of these ICT tools across various facets and echelons of the supply chain have been presented. Though it is well-known that ICT positively affects SCM performance and improves supply chain capabilities, the dearth of literature in the quantification of the impacts and a need for a generic framework for performance measurement of ICT deployment for SCM open avenues for further research.

Abstract:
Knowledge management (KM) gets importance in the organisational perspective. In this context, the present authors have developed a conceptual model by using, knowledge management practice (KMP) in the manufacturing industry for attaining performance. Based on various literature reviews, ten important intervening critical factors/enablers (organisational structure, leadership, training, employees' motivation, socialisation, organisational culture, learning attitude and behaviour, organisation's commitment, information technology, and knowledge management audit) are identified under KMP and a conceptual research model is proposed to examine the extent of its practice in the manufacturing industry in achieving performance. The aim of this paper is to discuss the identification of enablers through various research studies and propose enablers-based knowledge management practice in manufacturing industry for maintaining sustainability and performance. The proposed model has been validated by framing hypotheses and confirmed with the findings of various earlier studies. Further, the authors suggest that, the conceptual model can be tested and validated by empirical means.

Title: Trends and topics in IJENM from 2006 to 2020: a statistical history using topic modelling
Abstract:
The <i>International Journal of Enterprise Network Management</i> (<i>IJENM</i>) has been disseminating innovative research in understanding the complexity of a supply chain in an enterprise-wide scope in various industries using frameworks, adapted theories and configurable models since 2006. In this paper, we study the history of <i>IJENM</i> by analysing the articles published in the journal using text mining and topic modelling to bring out the evolution of topics and focus areas. We used text mining to identify the most frequently occurring terms in the title, keywords and abstract of <i>IJENM</i> papers and constructed co-occurrence network to analyse the interrelationship between focus areas. We then used topic modelling techniques to perform an unsupervised review and analysed the temporal trends of top ten topics in the journal. Our results showed that the focus area of <i>IJENM</i> started with traditional issues related to supply chain, and in the recent years has also started to cover trending topics like analytics, technology and internet of things. Our results indicate the evolving interests of the journal and its readers over the last 15 years and could benefit different stakeholders in the academic community to identify promising topics and realign the focus for journal development.

Title: Taguchi's robust parameter design to analyse ordered categorical data using inverse omega transformation
Abstract:
The manufacturing industry is striving hard to gain an edge over its competitors as far as the product quality is concerned. The product may have both variable and attribute quality characteristics. The variable cases are addressed using Shewhart's variable control charts, process capability analysis etc. Most of the attribute cases are addressed using 'fraction defective'; this serves as a quality measure. When such attributes of the product are categorised according to their severity, then the same case may be dealt with as 'ordered categorical data'. This research work presents the use of Taguchi's parameter design to improve the product quality during spline hob operation of a shaft. The visual defects that occur during this operation are treated as ordered categorical data and the analysis of this data is carried out using inverse omega transformation. The paper has resulted in determining the optimum settings for the process parameters in the spline hob operation.

Title: Antecedents of healthcare risk mitigation capability: impact on performance
Abstract:
The study aims to develop measures and enablers for healthcare risk mitigation capability. With growing importance for risk mitigation, our study develops healthcare risk mitigation capability as a first-order factor. Furthermore, it also develops its enablers and its influence on healthcare supply chain operational performance. A cross-sectional data collection approach was adopted targeting mainly experienced professionals in hospitals, chemistry and pharmaceuticals and surgical equipment manufacturers spread across two prime health destinations. Around 212 completed responses were received and were analysed using partial least squares. Our study indicated positive influences of organisation culture and top management support on healthcare risk mitigation capability. Also, it showed positive influences of organisation culture on resource commitment and from top management support. Title: A system dynamics-based approach towards sustainability of a rural milk dairy venture
Abstract:
India, being one of the largest producers of milk in the world, is witnessing unprecedented shutdowns amongst small-scale dairies due to business sustainability challenges. This could be attributed to adoption of event-based focus on systems and ignoring the time delays between the cause and the effects by the entrepreneurs. These shutdowns can be critical as the small-scale dairies heavily contribute to the country's overall milk production capacity. Through this article, we attempt to present a real-life case of a rural dairy highlighting an entrepreneurial dilemma and demonstrate the usage of group model building (GMB) techniques for conducting system dynamics (SD) simulation using Vensim®. The study is relevant as it enables the entrepreneur to foresee the impact of the different options regarding the business sustainability of his dairy. Also, it demonstrates the usage of GMB techniques and unlocks the potential to apply SD modelling using group techniques for policy analysis in diverse domains for the academicians.

Title: Opportunities for emerging market LLPs to improve the service quality of automotive parts exports in post-COVID-19
Abstract:
This research article proposes the service quality measures for four automotive lead logistics providers (LLPs) to improve the parts export business based at emerging markets such as India, China and Thailand. These measures have emerged from the pre-COVID-19 perception study on service quality from 117 global automotive professionals from auto original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) framework and questionnaire survey method was applied. It concludes with the results of different methods such as service quality (SERVQUAL), importance-performance analysis (IPA) and improvement factor (IF), to explain the significance of export business and where to improve their service quality post-COVID-19. The result shows that the service quality factors of IPA model had wide-ranging reflection for LLPs to focus in comparison with SERVQUAL and IF to gauge the perception of automotive OEMs concerning the service quality of LLPs in the industry post-COVID-19.

Title: Analysis of rising trend of online streaming services during pandemic situation of COVID-19
Abstract:
The implementation of nationwide lockdown during this pandemic situation has resulted into huge impact on the living style of everyone and affected various industries and companies during this lockdown resulting into a boom for those who were already present in the market with their stronghold in the online market. Some of these were the digital payment method, streaming service providers, online study platform, etc. Some of these services even reported a boom in their profit and market shares. The goal of this study was to identify the major streaming service providers in India and assess whether they made a profit during the lockdown and increase in the number of subscriber, increase in the streaming time and increase in the customer satisfaction. The result of the study shows that there was increase in the number of subscribers not only in subscriber but also increase in the streaming time too.

Title: Innovation strategy, high-tech SMEs, and innovation ecosystems: a theoretical essay
Abstract:
How high-tech SMEs use innovations as strategic factors in a multilevel context of an innovation ecosystem? Driven by this research question this theoretical essay aimed to establish theoretical relations among innovations, strategy, high-tech SMEs, and innovation ecosystems. We concluded that the reduction of uncertainties of high-tech industries and SMEs can be achieved through the resources exploitation and attraction from a multilevel perspective of innovation, the innovation ecosystem. We developed propositions that inter-relate the themes and identified gaps on the use of innovations as strategy factors by high-tech SMES in an innovation ecosystem metaphor. Future quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods researches are recommended.

Title: The implementation of occupational health and safety management system to improve performance of human resources development
Abstract:
This study emphasises the poor performance of human resources development which is caused by occupational health and safety (OHS) management system. It aims to improve the performance of human resources by examining the effect of occupational health and safety system, work-related stress, as well as the role of motivation for OHS management. This study was conducted to produce a model and an analysis of occupational health and safety related to performance of human resources (HR) development. The subject was 80 employees of PT.PLN Persero APD in Central Java and D.I. Yogyakarta. This study used a quantitative method by using descriptive statistics and partial least square (PLS) technique to analyse the effect of each variable. Based on the Q square results, its value is accounted for 0.60. This shows that Q square's value is larger than 0.5 indicating that factors of OHS management system, work-related stress, and motivation in OHS management have a good prediction level on the performance of human resources management.
