Title: Security enhanced collaborative business model approach using blockchain and IoT
Abstract:
Internet of things (IoT) is a popular technology used for various business use cases and it has the potential to speed up the shared economy in the business sector. The intensification of technology in business applications is a boon to business stakeholders nevertheless storing business and customer information in a centralised server, maintaining integrity of data stored and managing identity of the legitimate users are all still posing serious threats to the deployment of technology in the business field with higher data breach cost. These vulnerabilities make the business owners dither in collaborating with their business though it increases profit. The proposed security enhanced collaborative business model (CBM) approach using Ethereum blockchain over IoT aims to allow business owners to collaborate in their business by ensuring trust and integrity with low deployment cost and build brand for their products in the market that is valued by the customers.

Title: Evaluating the Jordanian university graduates' entrepreneurship skills
Abstract:
Entrepreneurship is fundamental to modern economics and technological development, and is vital to transitioning towards an interconnected digital economy, which requires adequate entrepreneurial skills that support this development. This study aimed to reveal the ability of Jordanian university graduates in some majors to pursue entrepreneurial work by examining their possession of entrepreneurial skills. This study utilised the descriptive, analytical approach on a sample of 322 graduate students. The study found that the degree of entrepreneurial skill possession among Jordanian university graduate students was moderate. However, graduates with prior work experience were found to have a significantly greater degree of entrepreneurial skills possession than those without. Moreover, among university graduates who have prior work experience, <i>entrepreneurship personal skills</i> were most available, followed by <i>entrepreneurship technical skills</i>, whereas <i>entrepreneurship management skills</i> were the least available. The study recommends universities enhance their course plan by adding practical courses to develop entrepreneurial skills.

Title: Contingent valuation approach to maximising park finances: a study of Kaziranga National Park
Abstract:
Contingent valuation (CV) studies in India, especially in the north eastern states, are very few. Considering the importance of higher tourism revenue for better conservation and sustainable financing, this study is an attempt to understand visitors' willingness to pay (WTP) and the significant factors affecting it by applying the CVM technique to 766 visitors in Kaziranga National Park (KNP), a World Heritage Site and a popular tourist destination in Assam, India. The study demonstrated high WTP of the visitors which can have important managerial implications. The overall findings suggest that the park entry fee can be carefully increased to maximise revenue. The binary logistic regression analysis identified income, domicile, expenditure, satisfaction, perceived image, revisit intention and environmental disposition as significant factors affecting WTP. The study provides valuable insights which can guide future pricing policies to become more self-sustainable.

Title: The effect of R&D expenses on financial performance: high vs. low R&D intensity industries
Abstract:
This paper examines the effect of R&D expenditure on the financial performance of companies, by comparing a low R&D intensity industry (consumer goods) to a high R&D intensity industry (pharmaceutical). We find that in both industries innovation activities and R&D expenses bring about better financial performance. Specifically, increasing R&D intensity boosts revenues. However, this occurs, but with a time lag. Low R&D intensive companies gain benefits from R&D investments more rapidly than high R&D intensive companies. In the two industries, time lag varies due to the specificities and peculiarities of R&D procedures, product production, distribution, and other processes. Finally, the paper shows that the effect of R&D expenses varies across the companies in the industries analysed. R&D expenses in pharmaceutical companies induce higher revenue growth, compared to consumer goods firms.

Title: How important are institutions for innovation and global competitiveness?
Abstract:
Several studies show the importance of innovation to increase the competitiveness of countries. The literature indicates the existence of many factors that influence this relationship, including institutional ones. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of institutions on the countries' competitiveness. For this, data from 137 countries, present in the Global Competitiveness Report, published regularly by the World Economic Forum, and statistical mediation models were used. The results confirm the hypothesis that the institutions in the countries mediate the influence of innovation on global competitiveness. Therefore, the countries' institutional structure should receive more attention as a relevant factor for competitiveness and economic growth. This article contributes to the discussion on the role of the country's institutional environment for economic performance at the international level. The development of policies to improve national systems of innovation needs to deal with the institutional environment to help competitiveness.

Title: Ways for novelty: disparity and commonness between business innovation and fiction creation
Abstract:
This research aims at bridging two distinct creative streams and promoting innovation. Business innovation and literature creation are two powerful engines for propelling modern society. However, how they pursue novelty with their styles and how they can learn from each other is rarely addressed. The author uses both literature surveys and participant observation, systematically looking into six areas in each stream. They are the classification of final products, the key elements contained in a success output, personal traits and skillsets of creators, originations of 'aha' moments, the realisation of a creative idea, and the ecosystem surrounding a creation. In addition to pinpointing the novelty roots shared by the two streams, this research reveals the critical differences in the six areas. The article further points out how business innovation could enrich itself by learning from its creative counterpart based on the disparities.

Title: The application of agent-based modelling for the diffusion of innovation research: a case study
Abstract:
Agent-based modelling (ABM) is considered as an important technique to study innovation diffusion and has been increasingly applied in the diffusion of innovation activities. This study investigates the opportunities to adopt ABM to diffuse innovation in a construction company in Oman, engaged in an innovative project to construct a prestigious integrated township. It proposes a new innovation diffusion model that simulates the social interactions between agents and how that interaction influences the agent's (visitors) adoption decisions. The application of ABM in this case project is analysed through MATLAB simulation software. The result from the study shows how a more complex model of a society can be implemented in a commonly used platform. The simulation results showed how the proposed model can actually mimic the expected behaviour of a complex system where static characteristics of agents such as nationality and age may influence the dynamic characteristics such as talking and frequency of visiting a certain location, which enhances the rate of decisions making process.

Title: ICT induced factors influencing online buying behaviour of customers: a literature review
Abstract:
With the tremendous growth in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector, a large amount of trading activities are done by using the internet and mobile phones. Despite this fact, people still feel hesitant while doing online shopping. This study attempts to explore the literature on the factors that affect online buying behaviour and the purchasing intentions of the customers and also explored the factors that inhibit customers using the internet or mobile phones for shopping purposes. A literature review approach is adopted for performing this research work and it was found that around 15 factors were identified affecting the adoption of internet and mobile phones for shopping. Online shopping benefits (i.e., convenience, enjoyment, service quality and variety and trust) were found to be the most prominent factors that affect the online buying behaviour of customers. Additionally, privacy and risk are the factors that were found to inhibit customers customers' online purchasing behaviour.

Title: Machine learning-based P2P lending Islamic Fintech model for small and medium enterprises in Bahrain
Abstract:
The study provides the current overview of P2P lending in Bahrain especially for the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector and proposes a machine learning-based Islamic Fintech model for P2P lending. The study also suggests how P2P lending platform (mainly a debt-based platform) can follow sharia principles and can satisfy the needs of customers who believe in lending/borrowing as per Islamic finance. The study proposes an Islamic Fintech model for person to business (P2P) lending suitable for the small and medium enterprises. It is high time that new methods of credit should be introduced and promoted to give a boost to the sector and save hundreds of thousands of jobs. Against such a backdrop, the present study identifies the gaps in lending system for the small and medium enterprises and proposes a machine learning-based Fintech model as per sharia compliance for attracting more lenders.

Title: Acceptance and use of e-commerce technology among female entrepreneurs of micro and small businesses in India: analysis of determinants
Abstract:
In spite of the e-commerce revolution creating immense growth opportunities for Indian SMEs, reports suggest that women entrepreneurs in the micro and small sector demonstrate low adoption of e-commerce. This research applies a technology acceptance perspective to analyse the determinants, which drive the behavioural intention to accept and use e-commerce among these women entrepreneurs of West Bengal and Jharkhand, India. The UTAUT model of technology acceptance was employed to assess the relative impact of the core determinants and the influence of age and experience as moderators. Structural equation modelling was employed and the findings confirm the positive influence of the four core determinants. It is suggested that weak penetration of e-commerce in the population can be improved if campaigns are re-designed and implemented to induce the women entrepreneurs to perceive that investment in ICT for e-commerce will be useful for their firms and that the technology is easy to use.

Title: The effects of venture capital on firm innovation: the role of absorptive capacity
Abstract:
The concept of absorptive capacity is currently receiving attention in the literature and the underlying drivers of innovation. The present article emphasises the contribution of venture capitalists to the innovation process, in particular through absorptive capacity. Building on the increasing importance of the structural equation modelling (SEM) as a substantial analytical tool for testing cause-effect-relationships models with latent variables, we used the partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) to test the structural and the measurement model of our research. The sample of this study consisted of 62 venture capital backed Moroccan firms. The results reveal that the innovation is largely associated upstream with the absorptive capacity in venture capital backed firms. However, the contribution of venture capitalists to innovation is relatively limited, particularly for radical innovation. Furthermore, the firm size has no significant impact on innovation and absorptive capacity.

Title: Workplace ergonomics and job stress among academicians of higher education: an Indian perspective
Abstract:
Academic work has traditionally been regarded as non-stressful but this is no longer the case worldwide. Academicians accommodate a professional group who possibly experience stress and musculoskeletal problems due to a variety of causes such as thirst to gain knowledge, research work, student's evaluation, preparing lectures, extended sitting and standing in the same posture, extensive use of the computer, administrative work, placement responsibilities, huge pressure to excel in a career, etc. Although a variety of reasons affect musculoskeletal conditions and job stress of academicians, ergonomics plays a pivotal role in increasing/decreasing it. Hence, the current study intends to inspect the above relationship and issues statistically. Data were assembled from academicians working in higher education institutions (HEIs) of Uttarakhand, India. Results reveal a significant direct negative association between workplace ergonomics and job stress. Even in the presence of mediating variable (WMSD), the direct effect between WE and JS was found significant.

Title: Access to finance and performance of small and medium enterprises: mediating role of product and process innovation
Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to estimate how access to finance enhances SME performance with the mediation role of product and process innovation. Required data was sourced from 276 manufacturing SMEs in India using a structured questionnaire. Structural equation modelling was performed to test the research hypotheses. Results show that product innovation is significantly associated with firm performance and also a mediating role in access to finance - firm performance linkage. However, process innovation insignificant with firm performance and there is no mediating role for process innovation in access to finance - firm performance relation. The findings imply the firm's decision on innovation by highlighting the significance of product innovation on the performance of SMEs. The findings could also apply to the financial institutions and government for financing innovative SMEs.

This technology got its popularity after digital payment methods gained popularity due to demonetisation. The current research attempts to study the adoption of NFC payment apps in India through UTAUT2 approach. Utilitarian value was also used as a moderator in the research model to check its effect on other factors in the study. A sample of 304 respondents was gathered and analysed through PLS-SEM technique in order to examine UTAUT2 theory. The results evidently depicted that performance expectancy, effort expectancy and hedonic motivation significantly and positively predict behavioural intention with no significant moderation effect of utilitarian value. Also, social influence, facilitating conditions and habit were not supported. Subsequently, behavioural intention did not significantly predict use behaviour towards NFC payment apps both before and after moderation.

Title: Psychological empowerment and life satisfaction: the mediating effect of organisational citizenship behaviour
Abstract:
With a dire need to focus on the positive mental health of individuals (WHO 2013-2020), this research explores the effect of psychological empowerment in promoting the mental well-being of doctors through the mediating effect of organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB). The sample comprised 209 doctors from five leading private hospitals in the Southern part of India. Well-validated and tested questionnaires were used and the data were analysed through descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, and regression analysis. The multiple regression analysis showed that psychological empowerment and OCB explained 17% and 29% of variance on life satisfaction among doctors. OCB acted as a full mediator between psychological empowerment and life satisfaction. The study results reveal that psychologically empowering doctors can spur behaviours to go beyond the call of duty, which in turn lead to more attention and quality care to patients. The doctors gain the feeling of fulfilment of accomplishing a quality output leading them to feel highly satisfied with their life. To the knowledge of researcher, this is one among a very few studies that has tried to understand the contributing factors of life satisfaction among doctors at Indian hospitals as the sample.

Title: Financial innovation, corruption, and economic growth: analysis of Sub-Saharan African countries
Abstract:
Financial innovation allows the expansion of financing, facilitates domestic and international commercial transactions, and reduces bureaucracy for financial institutions in customer satisfaction. We aim to examine the determinants of financial innovation and to verify whether financial innovation positively impacts economic growth, despite the prevalence of corruption in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. Results show that the determinants of financial innovation in Sub-Saharan African countries are competitiveness and the crisis in the banking sector, the need to extend the portfolio of deposits and bank loans (financial inclusion), and increased internet access for households and investment. Similarly, corruption prevents the transmission of the positive effects of the financial system on economic growth, and reductions in corruption boost economic growth, so it will be important for policymakers to bear in mind that without the reduction and control of corruption in developing countries, financial innovation does not produce major advantages concerning the economic growth of African countries.

Title: Selection environment, venture learning and capability building: case of Malaysian agriculture incubation system
Abstract:
This paper assesses the venture's learning and capability development during the incubation and post-incubation periods. The case studies show incubatees' capability and learning divergence across multiple cases. First, the selection environments – incubation and market – shape the knowledge and capability development. Specifically, R%D support with greater access to facilities liberates incubatees with domain knowledge to sustain their ventures during and after incubation. Second, learning and capability developments are highly constrained by the owners' domain knowledge distinction that limits their ability to appropriate employees' knowledge and the knowledge from incubation support system. Third, the interplay in the owner's domain knowledge, incubation support system, learning and capability development are dynamic where each reinforces one another. Overall, the selection environment features are critical junctures in driving evolutionary changes only when they co-evolve with other factors. The paper concludes with policy and managerial implications.

Title: Dimensions of innovation and technology in Chilean technology centres
Abstract:
The present work designs an index of the impact of innovation in Chilean technology centres. A database derived from the 10th innovation survey conducted by the National Institute of Statistics of Chile was generated. The instrument had 321 questions and included 5,876 organisations. The variables were reduced using inclusion-exclusion criteria, confirming 15 high-impact items to generate second-level dimensions. Through exploratory factor analysis and comparing the component matrix with the rotated component matrix, three latent dimensions explaining more than two-thirds of the total variance were ratified. It was determined that the dimensions: innovation in marketing, descriptors of innovation, and internal innovation make up the innovation model. The dimension 'descriptors of innovation' includes the items with the greatest impact and gives rise to an index for designing an innovation ranking in Chilean technology centres.

Title: Board attributes, ownership concentration, and corporate risk management. Evidence from listed non-financial firms in Kenya
Abstract:
This research aimed to examine whether ownership concentration moderates the link between board attributes and corporate risk management in Kenya. The sample included 41 non-financial companies from 2010-2017. Hierarchical binary logistic regression was employed to test the interaction of the variables. The study results indicated that concentration of ownership had a positive and insignificant moderating impact on the association between board financial expertise and corporate risk management (<i>β</i> = 0.12, <i>ρ</i> > 0.05) while the concentration of ownership positively and significantly moderated the relationship between board independence and corporate risk management (<i>β</i> = 0.75, <i>ρ</i> < 0.05). The results will be useful to investors by understanding how board aspects affect corporate risk management. This research offers useful perspectives especially in the context of emerging economies on the role played by the ownership concentration in terms of shareholdings while shaping management choices regarding corporate risk management.

Title: Factors influencing the outcomes of university-based Indian incubators
Abstract:
The study explores the factors that could influence the performance of incubators hosted by Indian universities. Sustainability of these TBIs depends on the determiners of these/performance. The study tries to identify if there exist any differentiator among the TBIs like the sector, public or private TBIs that perform better. The methodology adopted is primary data collection using a questionnaire designed for this purpose. Complete enumeration method is adopted for data collection. The questionnaire was circulated to the incubator heads of 67 incubators and 30 responses were obtained. It was found that number of years of operation and government grant are two significant factors that contribute to the successful outcome of incubators. No significant difference in the incubator performance was found between private and public universities to which the incubator is attached. However, sector specificity is proven to be significant in the success or otherwise of an incubator.

Title: ICT service exports in South Asia: a cross-country forecasting approach
Abstract:
The aim of the current study is to depict the forecasting trend of information and communication technology (ICT) service exports for the eight South Asian countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka). The latest available secondary data on ICT service exports for those South Asian countries from the World Development Indicators (WDI) of the World Bank dataset for the period of 2008 to 2017 were used for this study. For identifying the trend pattern, the least-square trend equation on deseasonalised data of ICT service exports has been used. In the least square trend equation, the independent variable is time and the dependent variable is deseasonalised data. Time series regression model has been initiated to forecast future values based on earlier mentioned values in the dataset. Findings of the study indicate that six countries (Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka) have an upward trend of ICT service exports for the period 2018-2025, and two countries (Afghanistan and Bhutan) have a downward trend of ICT service exports for the same time interval.

Title: Applying consumer-based brand equity in private universities branding: an empirical study
Abstract:
This paper investigates the influence of consumer-based brand equity (CBBE) dimensions on customers' brand attitude and purchase intention, along with the moderating effect for corporate social responsibility (CSR) on the relationship between customers' brand attitude and their purchase intention. The study sample consists of 375 students, which is considered as sufficient sample size for applying data analysis using partial least square-structure equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The current study findings reveal that three dimensions for CBBE out of four have a significant positive effect on customers' brand attitude (brand awareness, brand loyalty and brand image), while only brand loyalty has a direct positive influence on customers' purchase intention. Also, the results indicate that brand attitude partially mediates the relationship between brand loyalty and purchase intention, while it fully mediates the relationship between brand image and purchase intention. Furthermore, CSR does not moderate the relationship between customers' brand attitude and their purchase intention. Moreover, this paper contributes to CBBE literature.

Title: Influence of job satisfaction on organisational citizenship behaviour with moderating role of emotional and career commitments among Indian nurses
Abstract:
Medical needs of society have become more sophisticated, diversified, and complicated. This has necessitated emphasis on the organisational citizenship behaviour of nurses. The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the direct and indirect effects of job satisfaction, emotional commitment and career commitment on the citizenship behaviour of nurses in organisations. The study has taken job satisfaction as the independent variable, while emotional commitment and career commitment as the moderating variables. The results indicate that job satisfaction has positive and significant direct effect on the organisational citizenship behaviour of nurses. It also indicates the moderating effect of emotional commitment and career commitment in the relationship between job satisfaction and organisational citizenship behaviour. Findings suggest that while JS alone can significantly affect OCB; the presence of EC and CC act as catalyst and strengthens the relation between JS and OCB.

Title: Impact of COVID-19 on travel intention in Silicon Valley of India – testing the efficacy of the theory of planned behaviour
Abstract:
Travel intention is an important factor in understanding the traveller's preferences in the travel and tourism business. The purpose of the research is to understand the impact of COVID-19 on travel intention in the Silicon Valley of India and to test the efficacy of the theory of planned behaviour to predict travel intentions. This empirical research followed a quantitative analysis using the data acquired from a structured questionnaire. Convenience sampling was followed to collect the data from the respondents. The multiple linear regression results indicate a significant relationship between attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behaviour control on the intention to travel. The research is limited to respondents from Silicon Valley. The study contributes to the limited literature available in developing countries with respect to understanding the efficacy of the theory of planned behaviour to predict travel intention. The policymakers and health authorities can use the study findings to make decisions and develop policy regulations during the pandemic.

Title: Interorganisational relations in technological districts
Abstract:
This paper studies the development of interorganisational relationships among technological companies and the influence of belonging to an institutional district. Three levels were established to study the development of those relationships: first, participation in group activities, then the level of shared knowledge, and finally the achievement of joint projects. The study was designed under a mixed methodology with a correlational approach, triangulated by a questionnaire, interviews, and documentary bases for companies located in the technological district of Buenos Aires. The main results showed that expectations of development of the district and the possession of protocols for strategic decision-making significantly encourage cooperative actions, through their influence on the dynamics of trust. The shared knowledge was frequently tacit and mainly due to infrastructure and business partners. The most frequent type of relations was between large and small organisations, reflecting a potential for strategic alliances under co-working structures or business incubators.

Title: Working mothers in the United Arab Emirates
Abstract:
This article identifies the challenges faced by professional women, including mothers, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the coping mechanisms that these women have developed to overcome them, in the context of the UAE. Working mothers encounter numerous challenges such as lack of support from management, absence of sympathetic policies in the private sector, hiring prejudices, obstacles to leadership positions, and inappropriate questions during interviews, among others, these issues lead to a number of personal and professional challenges. Despite the current challenges, there are positive signs for the future, as the government of the UAE has introduced legislation and is taking concrete action to address some of these problems. This paper contributes to the existing literature on working mothers by exploring the experiences of mothers in the UAE and highlighting the particular issues that arise in the context.

Title: Do macro-economic factors influence the life insurance industry in India? An empirical approach
Abstract:
The insurance industry has marked its importance in augmenting the process of economic growth through its prominent contribution in terms of financial intermediation, capital accumulation, resource allocation and risk protection. The Indian insurance industry has shown a sharp rise since the formation of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority in 1999. Assuming the important and potential role of insurance, this study aims to investigate the macro-economic factors that may influence the life insurance sector in India with time-series data covering a period of 39 years (1980-2018). Employing Engle-Granger co-integration, ordinary least square regression and causality analysis it is found that foreign direct investment (FDI), broad money (M2) and gross capital formation (GCF) positively and significantly influence insurance sector growth in India. Engle-Granger causality test reveals one way causal relationship from GCF to life insurance penetration, whereas FDI and M2 are in reverse causality that runs from insurance penetration. The practical implication of this study lies in utilising the findings of this study by the policymakers in framing favourable policies to ensure sustained growth of the life insurance sector in India. The study is limited to the consideration of macro-economic factors only.

Title: Adoption of NFC-mobile payments by Generation Y consumers in Punjab: empirical evidence from UTAUT
Abstract:
Although near field communication technology presents an opportunity for India to embrace the next frontier of mobile payments, consumers' adoption of NFC-mobile payments is still lagged compared to QR mobile payment system. Therefore, the current research explores the potential of unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) integrated with 'adoption readiness' (AR) and 'perceived risk' (PR) in explaining Generation Y consumers' adoption of NFC-mobile payments in Punjab. The results based on structural equation modelling (SEM) analysis of 500 smartphone users indicate that perceived usefulness (PE), perceived ease of use (EE), facilitating conditions (FC), and social influence (SI) are vital dimensions of adoption readiness; which positively influence the behavioural intention. On the other hand, perceived risk measured through security, privacy, and financial risk negatively influences behavioural intention (BI) to use NFC-mobile payments. Finally, the paper highlights the key implications for stakeholders.

Title: The influence of creative self-efficacy, creative self-identity, and creative process engagement on innovative behaviour
Abstract:
Given that creativity and innovation is a sine qua non for any living organism, the calls for increasing research has got momentum in this landscape. The present study attempts to scrutinise the impact of creative self-efficacy (CSE) and creative self-identity (CSI) on employees' creative process engagement (CPE) as well as innovative behaviour (IB). Deductive reasoning approach was followed and data were collected using self-administered and other administered survey methods from small and medium enterprises listed in the SME foundation of Bangladesh. The current study used structural equation modelling, SmartPLS3, to estimate the results. The results reveal that the association of CSE and CSI with IB is not supported (p > 0.05). In contrast, the relationship between CSI and CPE, CSE and CPE, CPE and IB are statistically significant. The study advances the current literature by providing additional insights into the impact of CSE and CSI on employees' CPE and on IB.

Title: Investigating employees' perception of antecedents and consequences of mergers and acquisitions in HR perspective: an empirical analysis from India
Abstract:
It starts with the leader; it moves on to management and then to the last leg of the organisation, when it comes to any major development in the organisation. The leader should be able to envision the future and take along the organisation in the right direction making it successful. In this study, employee perception is measured post completion of the merger or acquisition process and after an average and minimum of two years; what are the outcomes from the employee perspective? Therefore, this study aims to investigate and measure the perception and identify the antecedents and consequences in terms of human resources in the IT industry and further validate the proposed model. This study has used survey methodology with five acquired companies in IT sector across UK and Asian countries. The study found a new perspective linking HR issues, HR policies and HR outcomes under the influence of demographics.

Title: Systematising partner selection processes for R%D business relationships
Abstract:
Innovations, opportunity identification, pursuit, exploitation as well as firm development can be addressed by organisations that develop formal relationship with others for the purposes of accessing essential resources, competencies, knowledge and legitimacy. To build a case in this area, we examine partner selection processes for research and development business relationship's success using multiple-case methodology. Drawing on the resource-based view-plus model (made up of the resources-based view of the firm, knowledge base view and trust theory), this study analyses how research and development can be enhanced by the selection of appropriate partners in strategic alliance. The findings provide best practices for managing partnership selection process in research and development knowledge area accentuated by trust, substantial capital, and financial stability as well as resource required for expansion. We introduce the box and scale model and how they can be administered during the partner selection process.

Title: Self adaptive random generated certificateless signcryption identity with load balancing for secured cloud data communication
Abstract:
In cloud, data communication is performed among the servers and cloud users where security plays a major role for protecting the data from unauthorised users. The several techniques have been developed to provide the security for cloud data. But, it failed to consider both data security as well as load balancing in cloud. This is the major concern in decreasing the growth of cloud computing. A self adaptive random generated certificateless signcryption identity based weighted heuristic search load balancing (SARGCSI-WHSLB) technique for improving the load balancing efficiency with higher security in cloud data access is proposed. This technique performs the encryption and signature verification process where only the authorised cloud user accesses the data from the cloud server. Based on the results and discussions, SARGCSI-WHSLB technique improved the data security as well as load balancing efficiency in cloud environment than the other methods.

Title: The effect of external search depth on innovation performance: the mediating role of organisational innovation
Abstract:
Much research has been done to examine the positive effect of external search depth on innovation performance. However, litter has been known about the process through which external search depth lead to innovation performance. This study examined the mediating effect of organisational innovation, which defined as enactment of newly made process, practice, and structure to reach a firm's goal, on the relationship between external search depth. We considered three types of organisational innovation such as the change of process, introduction of organisational structure to enhance the cooperation, and the encouragement of the cooperation using 3,442 firms in Korea. The results suggested that external search depth is positively associated with innovation performance. In addition, we found that organisational innovation mediated the main relationship. This study contributes to the current innovation literature by providing the evidence on the mediating effect of organisational innovation.

Title: Electronic word-of-mouth model on customers' online purchase intention with multi-group approach digital services
Abstract:
Electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) communication is a part of a digital marketing strategy that has been used for a long time. This study examines the influence of eWOM of information on customers' online purchase intentions in social media and shopping websites. According to the results, the information acceptance model (IAM) determinants – information quality (IQ), information credibility (IC), and information usefulness (IU) were similar in the two groups. However, the information adoption (IA) in social media group had a significant impact, though not in group shopping websites. Although the results were different from past research, its model IAM provides new insights into information systems' study (IS). Future studies should use other research models considering the variation in the results of this research. Furthermore, this study helps understand the impact of eWOM in group social media and shopping websites, specifically regarding customers' purchase intentions in Indonesia.

Title: Talent management practices in startups and their effects in innovation, intrapreneurship, and internationalisation
Abstract:
This study explores the role of talent in the processes of innovation, intrapreneurship, and internationalisation of startups. For this purpose, an empirical study was conducted with 226 Portuguese startups, and the impact of these components was analysed using the structural equation model. The findings indicate that talent attraction, development, and retention practices have a positive impact on innovation. However, the same correlation was not verified for intrapreneurship practices. Furthermore, both innovation and intrapreneurship are two determining elements in startups' internationalisation activities. This study offers pertinent contributions to the establishment of policies to support the internationalisation processes of startups, in which talent management emerges as a determining factor for its sustainable growth.

Title: Investigating consumer intention to use food delivery mobile applications: an Indian perspective
Abstract:
Online retail and mobile commerce are one of the fastest growing segments in Indian market, be it any product category. Food industry has witnessed a massive transformation as to how the business is conducted. Prior studies have typically scrutinised consumer attitudes towards online retail in general and very few studies have emphasised consumer behaviour with respect to food delivery mobile applications (FDMA), specifically in Indian context. The objective of this study is to inspect the structural relationship between the constructs of UTAUT2 and consumer intention to use FDMA in the presence of consumer innovativeness (CI) as a reflective moderator. Online questionnaires were administered with 276 valid questionnaires. The model was tested using partial least square (PLS) path modelling approach. The findings suggest that only habit, performance expectancy and price value were key indicators of Indian consumers' intention to adopt FDMA with no significant moderation effect of CI in domain if IT.

Title: What leads customers to stay with an online transportation service in emerging markets?
Abstract:
With the continuous development of technologies and user demand, mobile app functions have become more and more diversified in category extension, specifically app-based shared transportation platforms (ABSTP). This study focuses on predictors of loyalty intention in the mobile app portfolio of shared-transportation services. Four hundred thirty Vietnamese transportation app users were analysed using PLS-SEM. The results show that alternative attraction does not have a significant effect on loyalty intention. However, brand awareness, customer inertia, app rating, perceived value, and customer satisfaction directly affect customers' loyalty intention. E-service quality has a strong indirect effect on loyalty intention through relationships on perceived value and customer satisfaction. Especially, the measurements of e-service quality and perceived value second-order constructs for ABSTP were well confirmed and validated. Findings give some recommendations on establishing competitive strategies for managers of ABSTP companies.

Title: The role of FDI uncertainty on financial development: evidence from panel data
Abstract:
The financial sector is one of the most crucial sectors in an economy that requires development considering the role it plays in any of the economic structures. In view of that, this study investigates the role financial globalisation uncertainty and the Global Financial Crisis 2007 plays in relation to the financial development of some selected leading African economies. To support the model, the study includes economic growth and trade openness as control variables in the research. The empirical co-integration result using Westerlund and Edgerton (2007) confirmed the presence of long-run relationship among the variables. Our result from the dynamic common correlated effect estimator also reveals that GDP, FGU and trade openness are positively related to the financial development. However, the Global Financial Crisis 2007 shows a negative effect towards financial development. Thus, proper policy implications are discussed in the final section of the study.

Title: Does relationship marketing have a dark side? A theoretical perspective
Abstract:
Few studies have identified that despite the benefits of adopting a relationship marketing strategy, there could be a dark side that reveals itself between business firms because of implementing a relationship marketing strategy. Past literature remains scrappy on this aspect. The other perspective tells that over time, a relationship may become boring. Apart from this time factor, another factor namely, opportunism, also played a significant role in manifesting the dark side variables. The present paper provides a conceptual framework on the variables of relationship marketing (trust and commitment) and the identified dark side of relationship marketing (such as vulnerability, complacency and suspicion). The authors argue that if at any point a partner has the opportunity to engage in opportunism, there appears a negative side of the relationship which overcomes the positive impact of the relationship marketing strategy, and most favourable factors like trust, slowly converts into the identified dark side variables.

Title: The effects of COVID-19 on global tourism
Abstract:
The world is facing an unprecedented situation with COVID-19 posing many socioeconomic challenges to tackle. While projections of UNWTO suggest that international tourist arrivals could decline by 60%-80% for 2020, global tourism has once again come under the radar of crises. This study explores the ramifications of the pandemic on global tourism and its allied industries on a regional basis. The findings reveal Asia-Pacific region has been the most affected followed by Europe and America due to restrictions imposed on travel and tourism sector across nations. The paper also discusses the policy responses taken by several economies across the world and provides an overview of the future policy decisions which will be crucial for the sustenance of the global tourism sector. Tourism, a resilient and flexible sector, requires several structural adjustments in order to survive and recover and rebuild consumer confidence in order to promote future tourism.

Title: Understanding organic food purchase behaviour: using the extended theory of planned behaviour
Abstract:
Organic food consumption is gaining attention following greater consumer awareness of health and environmental issues. This study examined the factors influencing organic food purchase behaviour in one developing country, namely Malaysia. Responses from 321 questionnaire respondents, derived from convenience sampling, were analysed. Based on the extended theory of planned behaviour (TPB), the results of the study show a significant influence of attitude towards organic food, perceived behavioural control (PCB), knowledge of organic food, and eco-labelling in predicting the organic food purchase intention, thus the actual purchase behaviour. This study addresses the 'intention-behaviour gap' and signifies the importance of contextual factors in understanding organic food purchase behaviour in a specific country. Organic food retailers need to implement strategies that promote purchase behaviour by disseminating useful information about the benefits of organic food consumption to consumers and placing eco-labels on organic food packaging in order to support sustainable food consumption.

Title: Economic development and market impact of radical innovation on the food industry via TT U-I
Abstract:
The adoption of open innovation by the food industry is on the rise, seeking research and development (R&D) through technology transfer from the university. Radical innovations are relevant for agribusiness and can lead to major changes and generate benefits. This study investigated the economic development and market impact of a radical innovation in the food industry via technology transfer university-industry (TT U-I), based on the contingent effectiveness model of TT. The TT innovation in this study regards the discovery of a molecule that is capable of extending shelf life of pre-processed food. The results showed effects of the innovation that the Model had not plotted, namely revenue extended to supply and productive chains, profitability beyond the enterprise, TT as a source of incremental innovations, vast potential to create new jobs and new businesses, international economic impact, and return of licenses to the agent (university), which promoted investments in new TT processes.

Title: Buyers' involvement profiles for personal care products: a comparison of rural and urban India
Abstract:
This study aims to explore the involvement profiles of buyers while buying personal care products and examines whether the residential background of buyers has a varying influence on their buying involvements. The results reveal four involvement dimensions along with three clusters for rural respondents and five involvement dimensions along with two clusters for urban respondents. Moreover profiles of respondents also reveal significant differences across clusters with respect to demographic variables. The involvement profiling shall help marketers in understanding the dimensions of involvement along with differences in involvement profiles of rural and urban respondents, so that they can design marketing strategies for personal care products buyers in better ways. It is the first kind of paper which highlights the need to think about involvement as a specific product class phenomenon specifically for personal care products.

Title: Assessment of service innovation in the quick service restaurants
Abstract:
The present study is an attempt to analyse the impact of service innovation on customer satisfaction and experience. The impact of customer experience on customer satisfaction has also been examined. Furthermore, the study also identified the mediating role of customer experience in between service innovation and customer satisfaction. The sample respondents were 221 quick service restaurant customers specifically from McDonald's, Domino's Pizza, Pizza Hut, Café Coffee Day, and KFC located in three cities of India, in particular Jammu, Chandigarh and Delhi (North India). Structural equation modelling has been used to test the relationship between the constructs. The study proposed a model on the basis of several hypothetical relationships which have resulted from an extant review of the literature. The proposed model is then tested empirically, which reflects the influence of SI on CS and CE and further, the influence of CE on CS in the select quick service restaurants in India.

Title: Analysing productivity of digital marketing investments through selected metrics
Abstract:
Nowadays, the business firms are shifting their investments from traditional marketing to digital marketing. Even though the companies are spending more on digital marketing, yet most of the marketers find it difficult to measure productivity of digital marketing investments. One of the measures of productivity is return on investment (ROI), and digital marketing return on investment (ROI) is the measure of profit or loss that the marketers generate on their digital marketing investments. Digital marketing productivity is measured through different metrics such as cost per click, cost per impression, bounce rate, share of voice, conversion rate, etc. This paper highlights these metrics with the help of few case studies from past literature. These metrics provide useful information regarding success of digital marketing investments in generating sales growth, profit, brand awareness and knowledge, customer relationship management and promoting word-of-mouth. Effective productivity measurement of digital marketing investments would lead to trust among business firms and promote higher use of such digital marketing tools by the business organisations. The authors have also presented a conceptual framework of measuring digital marketing productivity.

Title: Market segmentation of online shoppers: a Bayesian approach
Abstract:
Trust among online shoppers is an essential prerequisite for a flourishing e-retail. This study identifies trust-based segments among online shoppers in India. The antecedent constructs of trust in e-retailing context are theorised and a response-based segmentation is carried out using Bayesian latent structure regression (BLSR) with variable selection. BLSR is run on survey response from 263 respondents to extract the segments. The findings are validated by a focus group discussion involving 12 online shoppers. The study makes four unique contributions. First, there are no universal drivers of trust in e-retail. Second, Indian online shoppers can be segmented based on trust into - '<i>inner-directed</i>' and '<i>outer-directed</i>' shoppers. Third, trust levels of <i>inner-directed</i> shoppers are influenced by their technology-savvy characteristics and brand knowledge. And fourth, trust levels of <i>outer-directed</i> shoppers are shaped by e-retailer's care. The findings provide e-retailers with segment-level, strategic market interventions for trust formation among online shoppers.

Title: Prioritising the factors influencing strategic tools' usage by micro, small and medium enterprises: an analytic hierarchy process approach
Abstract:
Strategic practitioners and scholars often advise organisations to use strategic tools. Still, several studies identified differences in the usage pattern of strategic tools in various contexts. Researchers have also found a diverse set of factors influencing their adoption. However, hardly any research has gone beyond it to answer a very pertinent question: Which is/are the most important factor(s)? This study aims at examining the relative importance of these factors in the context of MSMEs operating in developing nations. At first, we arranged these factors as per the extended TOE framework. Then, we applied the AHP technique to identify their priorities from the data collected from 17 MSME owners of NCT of Delhi using convenience sampling. The paper presents the ranking of each factor in three levels consisting of four in level 1, eight in level 2, and 21 in level 3.

Title: Tourist satisfaction in sun and sea destinations
Abstract:
Sun and sea tourism is one of the sector's biggest drivers of visitor flow. It is, therefore, of great importance to evaluate the level of tourist satisfaction. This study serves a double purpose: first, to carry out a bibliometric analysis of the classics of literature on sun and sea tourist satisfaction; second, to examine the profile of tourists visiting the Andalusian coastline by looking at levels of satisfaction and expectations with the different tourist offer indicators. This has been achieved by means of a questionnaire that was handed out to 4,571 tourists. The main results of the bibliometric analysis show that despite the need for a better understanding of tourist satisfaction for the sun and sea segment, research in this area is scant and few studies have been published in international journals. The statistical analysis shows how tourists can be classified into two groups according to their level of satisfaction.

Title: Aspirations and intellectual property in the worldwide entrepreneurship ecosystem
Abstract:
Entrepreneurship and intellectual property ecosystems are a systematic and multifaceted phenomenon. The analysis of these ecosystems is essential to gain an understanding of how they might be related, especially at the country level. Our investigation has identified a lack of studies that empirically assess the possible relationship between these two ecosystems. We aim to evaluate the linkage between entrepreneurship and the intellectual property ecosystems. The aspirations sub-index of the Global Entrepreneurship Index and the US Chamber International IP Index are used as a proxy for the entrepreneurial and intellectual property ecosystem, respectively. We estimate a panel data model and use a quantile regression model with fixed effects to test the hypothesis that the intellectual property ecosystem affects aspirations in the global entrepreneurship ecosystem. This study analyses these ecosystems from a different perspective, and the results are potentially important for policymakers who seek to improve entrepreneurship and intellectual property.

Title: Effective fashion labelling via image-based recommendation with deep learning
Abstract:
Tremendous increase in the volume of e-commerce data directs recommender systems to be an efficient approach to overcome this overload of information. Recently, deep learning has been applied in varied business fields such as image processing and natural language processing for higher performance. In particular, fashion organisations have started applying deep learning training methods to their online business. Classification of objects/images is the most significant backbone of these applications. Generally, existing techniques depend on traditional features/attributes to characterise an image, for example, the visual properties retrieved by convolutional neural systems. We have developed a two-tier deep learning system that recommends apparel images based on various apparel images passed as input. To accomplish this, a neural network classification system is employed as a visually aware, data-driven extractor of features. The extracted features and the ranking matrix are taken as the input for similarity-based recommendations employing a significant nearest neighbour algorithm.

Title: Artificial intelligence definition, applications and adoption in human resource management: a systematic literature review
Abstract:
This paper deals with the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in human resource management (HRM). Although AI emerged in the mid 20th century, current literature still offers an inconsistent view of AI in HRM. This piece of research provides an overview of the academic literature published in this field. AI and HRM, two separate research streams so far, have been analysed to aggregate knowledge and to identify common patterns of interaction between them. The aim of this paper is to analyse how AI can influence HRM and derive a specific definition of AI in HRM. Moreover, the authors discuss AI applications in HRM and current academic framework for AI adoption in HRM. The findings show a comprehensive review of the relationship between AI and HRM, identifying research gaps regarding this knowledge area and the implications concerning AI.

It has been argued in many studies that as the informational asymmetry in the market decreases, stock return synchronicity also decreases, the reason being that the market has less market-wide information and more firm-specific information. This paper mostly tries to explain the influence of corporate governance on stock price synchronicity where corporate governance is considered a proxy of governance transparency. The result documents the fact that the presence of international directors, CEO duality, percentage of shareholding pattern and board member's attendance has a very significant impact on synchronicity. However, selection of random effect model suggests that there is unobserved heterogeneity in the model which is constant over time and not correlated with the independent variable.

Title: The effectiveness of long tail marketing on consumer behaviour towards online streaming channels: a thematic approach
Abstract:
Consumer behaviour is complex. It is interesting to understand the consumer's intention towards online streaming channels, and their preference towards popular and unpopular shows, which is a topic that is fascinating among tech-savvy individuals. This paper aims to understand Indian consumers' aspects or reasons behind the preference for unpopular contents in the online streaming channels. Purposive sampling technique was used in choosing the participants and FGDs were organised to draw thematic content in the context of the study. Inductive thematic analysis gave way to other dimensions such as preference on genre, preference on category and count on unpopular content that progressed out of the themes. Preference for unpopular content, research on unpopular content, continued exploration of unpopular content and counting on unpopular content influenced the viewers watching unpopular shows on online streaming channels.

Title: A study on resource stretch and leverage from the perspective of dynamic capabilities
Abstract:
The dynamic capabilities view, documented in many strategic management studies, addresses how firms integrate, build, and configure the resource-bases to respond to the market dynamism. This study aims to present an overview of these previous studies and to explore the relationship between internal and external dynamics of a firm, which has received little attention in the literature body. Drawing on a case-centred narrative approach, we analysed the cases of five companies in various industries. Our findings show remarkable similarities among the interviewed companies' narratives, which reveal five basic themes: top managers' awareness leverage, industrial relationship leverage, strategic leverage, corporate knowledge leverage and corporate asset leverage. These themes reflect how dynamic capabilities are utilised to adapt, manipulate, and expand the resource-base within an organisation to either explore or exploit new opportunities. Accordingly, firms can understand the role of the dynamic capabilities in resource management and properly direct future managerial activities.

Title: Determinants of innovation for emerging market MNEs: evidence from the chemical industry in India
Abstract:
Over a period of time, innovation has become the key for developing ownership advantages for emerging market MNEs. To examine the firm-level determinants of innovation for emerging market MNEs, this paper looks at the case of firms in the Indian chemicals and chemical products industry. The chemicals and chemical products industry is a high-technology and research-intensive industry and serves as a base for other industries. Hence, innovation in this sector can have spillover effects on other related industries as well. Employing panel data regression and using R%D (capital and current account) intensity and R%D (current account) intensity, empirical analysis has been conducted for the period 2009-2016. The results depict that young firms are more innovative. Growth, capital intensity, employee skills intensity, export intensity, import intensity and technology purchase intensity of firms significantly and positively affects innovation. In contrast, profit intensity negatively influences innovation.

Title: Uncovering the role of 'culture' and 'self-image' in determining academics' acceptance of performance appraisal in a Jordanian university context
Abstract:
Performance appraisal influences decisions made regarding academics. Little is known about academics' perceptions of performance appraisal and why they hold these perceptions. This paper explores the role of 'culture' and 'self-image' in shaping the mindset of academics concerning their acceptance of performance appraisal. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 16 academics working in a Jordanian university. This study revealed that the norms and traditions, groupings/categorisation, and personal networks within culture influence academics' perceptions and acceptance of performance appraisal. The analysis also showed that self-image is a culturally developed inhibitor that plays a role in creating resistance to evaluation. This paper extends previous research on performance appraisal and brings insights concerning how it should be developed and implemented in a university context. It identifies potential yet critical inhibitors that explain academics' perceptions of the practice, which is of practical interest to management in academic institutions and HR professionals.

Title: Investment pattern of domestic institutional investors
Abstract:
This research paper makes the first-ever study on the relationship between domestic institutional investors; DII, i.e., mutual fund; MF, insurance companies; INSU, development financial institution; DFI and banks with Indian stock market returns, at a disaggregated level. This analysis is based on ten-year daily data collected from Securities and Exchange Board of India, SEBI. During the study, Granger causality block exogeneity test verifies that stock returns predict MF, INSU, and DFI's investment behaviour. Additionally, correlation analysis shows a positive contemporaneous relationship of stock returns with buying and selling done by all the four DIIs. Quantile regression technique reveals that INSU and, MF are contrarian traders, whereas banks are momentum traders. With the analysis, we learnt that INSU is the most active trader at every quantile. MF is more active at lower quantiles. Banks are active traders at upper and lower quantiles, and DFI is active only at extreme quantiles.

Title: Mobile banking a new banking model: an empirical investigation of financial innovation
Abstract:
In the present study, researchers conduct a detailed investigation of financial innovation of mobile banking due to technological innovation. The study covers from 2010-2011 to 2019-2020. A multiple regression model is used to identify the important factors that influence technology-based mobile banking transactions. The analysis reveals that mobile connection, literacy and GDP rate play a significant role in the growth of mobile banking transactions. Further, to investigate the role of mobile banking transactions on financial inclusion, researchers have run a bivariate regression analysis. The result shows that mobile banking transactions have a significant role on financial inclusion. The study also finds that public and private sector banks both play a significant role in implementing mobile banking. So, when physical branch mode banking is too costly, regulators and banks can stimulate the customers to use the mobile device as a mode of banking to achieve the target of financial inclusion.

Title: Financial innovation and bank performance: an empirical analysis of Indian commercial banks
Abstract:
The paper intends to investigate the impact of technology-led financial innovation on the financial performance of 52 public and private Indian Scheduled Commercial banks during the time period 2011-2012 to 2016-2017. Banks' performances are measured under four major categories i.e., activity, liquidity, profitability, and solvency. Bank-wise financial innovation index is constructed by using principal component analysis from the variables, usage of credit card and debit card at ATM and point of sale, RTGS and NEFT. On the basis of adoption level of financial innovation, banks are classified into two clusters: high innovation banks and low innovation banks. The cluster analysis exhibits that adoption of technical innovation is relatively low among public sector banks (except State Bank of India) than private sector banks. Panel data estimation explains that financial innovation index helps to improve various indicators of Indian banking performance exclusively for low innovation banks. Hence the adoption of financial innovation is beneficial for the low innovation banks at their early stage of innovation. Empirical estimation shows that financial innovation does not affect banking activity, liquidity and profitability for high innovation banks. In fact, it reduces the solvency of high innovation banks.

Title: Women's empowerment: key for socio-economic development in India
Abstract:
This paper attempts to analyse the role of microfinance institutions and self-help groups (SHGs) in people's empowerment, especially women living in rural areas through placements or job opportunities across different sectors, thus removing gender stereotypes prevailing in society and removing the migration issue in India. Women in India earn a median gross salary of Rs.196 per hour, 19% lower than Rs.242 for men, according to the latest Monster Salary Index. Wage inequalities are the highest in IT/ITES (26%) and manufacturing (24%), but even female-intensive sectors such as healthcare and social work show a steep pay gap (21%). To promote gender equality and the entrepreneurial spirit, it is inevitable to finance women for various small and local start-ups.

Title: Capital structure and cooperative unions' financial performance in southwest Ethiopia
Abstract:
The purpose of this paper was to ascertain the effects of capital structure on the financial performance of cooperative unions. The financial performance was measured using return on asset (ROA) and equity (ROE) while the capital structure was measured using debt ratio, asset tangibility, liquidity ratio and asset size. The examination utilised a unique board model of cooperative unions for the time of 2015 to 2020. The examination uncovered that debt ratio, asset tangibility, and liquidity proportion has a noteworthy and beneficial outcome on the financial performance of cooperative unions. However, asset size has a negative and critical impact on the financial performance measured both in ROA and ROE. The investigation presumes that capital structure has a noteworthy impact on the financial performance of cooperative unions. At long last, the investigation suggests that cooperative unions ought to have an ideal capital structure so as to upgrade the money-related execution and make the colossal incentive to its members.

Title: Corporate governance, innovation and firm performance: evidence from India
Abstract:
Innovation is crucial in determining the competitive position in the global market; however, management finds it difficult to allocate resources towards these investments due to uncertainty of returns in the future. Given that the board of directors monitor managerial decisions and encourage them to pursue innovative strategies for enhancing firm performance, this study examines the moderating effect of corporate governance on the relationship between innovation and firm performance in a panel of 599 Indian listed companies from 2015 to 2019 by employing fixed-effect regression analysis and conditional effects. Results signify the negative moderating impact of nomination and remuneration committee (NRC) busyness and NRC participation on the relationship between innovation and market indicator (Tobin's Q); however, none of them moderate the relation between innovation and financial performance (ROE). The findings also indicate the indirect influence of board independence on the strength of the R&D-performance relationship. Companies and regulators should develop measures to reduce management's influence in the nomination process to achieve the desired outcome from the mandatory composition of NRC.
